Okay, so I’ve learned you can stumble across the Dam Staff Room Key just by looting in ARC Raiders. It’s a totally random drop, but trust me, it’s worth it – it unlocks a room with some seriously good gear!
You’ll find the key in the Control Tower and Research & Administration area of the Dam Battlegrounds map. This staff room also contains loot that can only be accessed with the Security Breach skill.

Dam Staff Room Key Use Guide – Security Breach Loot Location | ARC Raiders
The Dam Staff Room Key is obtained randomly, much like other keys in the game. You can find it by searching containers throughout the world. It appears to be more frequently found in drawers and containers located in houses and other living spaces.
The key isn’t limited to the Dam Battlegrounds; it can appear on any map. This means you have a chance of finding it even if you’re playing on a different map!
Once you find the key, go to the Control Tower in the middle of the Dam Battlegrounds map. We’ve shown you exactly where it is on the map above.
Okay, so once I got to the Control Tower, I just headed straight in. There was a locked door immediately in front of me, and luckily I had the key! I used it, and the staff room unlocked – time to grab some loot!
Just so you know, using the key to open the door will make it disappear. If you want to come back to this room later, you’ll need to find a new key.
Beyond that, this room features several containers that can only be opened with the Security Breach skill from the Survival skill tree. These containers hold significantly better items than the others, so it’s worth trying to open them if you’ve unlocked that skill.
