Elizabeth Olsen Makes Rare Comments About Robbie Arnett Marriage

Elizabeth Olsen is living a happy life as a wife.

Four years after quietly getting married to Robbie Arnett, the star of WandaVision finally talked about their wedding and shared what life is like as a married couple.

In an interview with InStyle published on October 21st, Elizabeth explained the surprise around her 2021 marriage. “Why the secrecy?” she asked. “We ran off and got married – you just weren’t aware of it.”

I’ve always admired how Elizabeth handles her personal life. She and the musician were definitely a couple, but she preferred to keep things private. Though she did want everyone to know she wasn’t trying to be secretive or play hard to get – she just values her privacy!

Elizabeth opened up to Robbie about her life, revealing that despite being very independent, she feels their relationship is surprisingly reliant on each other. She admitted, “I adore him.”

Elizabeth shared that she and her partner prefer a relaxed lifestyle, enjoying quiet nights in watching movies and TV. They’re currently watching The Sopranos together, which Elizabeth jokingly said has been giving her nightmares.

Elizabeth says she couldn’t stop thinking about her husband, Robbie, even while working. She was filming the romantic comedy Eternity with Miles Teller and Callum Turner when she realized, “It really made me think about him.”

The new film, releasing November 26th, centers around Joan, played by Elizabeth, who finds herself in a difficult situation after death. At 90 years old, she’s reunited with both of her husbands – Larry (Miles), whom she was with for a long time, and Luke (Callum), a war hero who passed away years before. She must now choose which of them she wants to spend eternity with, as Luke has been waiting for her in the afterlife.

Although the Love & Death actress didn’t reveal what her character, Joan, ultimately decides, she hinted that her character’s husband is starting to remind her of Larry, particularly because of how he died—by choking on a pretzel.

She jokingly told InStyle that Robbie will likely spend his later years arguing over small things and, quite literally, choking on a pretzel. She described it as a pattern of silly arguments ending with a comical mishap.
