Pokémon Legends: Z-A Guide: How To Farm Money Fast

Even though Mega Shards are now used to buy top-tier items and Mega Stones in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, Poke Dollars are still useful. You’ll need them to shop for clothes in Lumiose City, and those items can be quite expensive!

As a big fan of Pokémon Legends: Z-A, I’ve been figuring out the best ways to make Poke Dollars fast! This guide shares everything I’ve learned about earning money quickly and efficiently in the game.

Gold Canari Plush

The Gold Canari Plush is one of five different Canari plush toys available. You can find these toys in the Shop Inventory at the Colorful Screw Exchange within Racine Construction.

You can get more prize money from winning trainer battles if you trade three Colorful Screws.

You can use all five Canari Plushes at the same time, and you can even make them better! If you fully upgrade the Gold Canari Plush, it takes sixteen Colorful Screws, and then you’ll earn 1.5 times more prize money after winning trainer battles.

Z-A Royale Nightly Event

In this Pokémon-themed battle royale, you’ll face trainer after trainer in rapid-fire battles to collect Prize Medals. Your win rate then determines a multiplier that boosts your rewards. At the end of the event, when the Battle Zone closes, your total Prize Money will be calculated.

You can earn up to 9,999 Prize Medals each night, which translates to 99,990 in prize money. Owning a fully upgraded Gold Canari Plush increases this by 50%, bringing the total to 149,985. You can further boost your earnings by winning battles – each trainer you defeat adds a multiplier to your Prize Medals. This win bonus is capped at 3.0x, meaning you can earn the maximum bonus after winning 30 trainer battles.

If you win 30 trainer battles each night, this increases the total prize money available to nearly $450,000.

While exploring Battle Zones, you’ll occasionally find Prize Medals – they look like shiny gold coins on the ground. Each one is worth 10 Poke Dollars before any bonus multipliers are added.

Treasures

As you explore Lumiose City, you’ll find lots of sparkling items on the ground. These are mostly Treasures you can collect and sell at the Pokémon Center for Poke Dollars. Feel free to pick them all up – they don’t have any use other than being worth anywhere from a few to several hundred Poke Dollars.

Side Missions

These tasks give you a small reward when finished, but they aren’t a good way to consistently earn resources. You can only complete them once, and the payouts aren’t very large. Sometimes you might find a valuable item as a reward, but that’s rare.

Those are the best ways to grind for money in Pokémon Legends: Z-A.
