Mary Cosby isn’t gassed by Angie Katsanevas‘ latest digs.
A preview of the upcoming October 21st episode of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City shows a surprisingly funny fight between former friends, sparked by claims that Mary passed gas! Yes, you read that right – the argument is over alleged flatulence.
In a preview clip, Mary explains to her fellow actor, “I feel like I don’t even know you anymore, and you’ve been a bit unkind—like when you teased me about passing gas.”
Cut to a flashback of Mary having drinks at Angie’s house with Bronwyn Newport.
“It just came,” she admits. “I don’t know why I’m farting.”
The women were all laughing as Bronwyn playfully told someone to sit far away. Angie, the hostess, chimed in with a joke about moving if anyone needed to excuse themselves.
Mary’s frequent flatulence is a running joke between the three friends. Angie playfully jokes, “At least Mary lets us know when it’s coming! Seriously, with Mary’s gas, what other news do we have today?”
However, days later, Mary is no longer laughing about the topic.
She told Angie that the whole thing started when their dog farted, and then you jokingly suggested it might have been Mary. You even said, ‘Let’s move over here because Mary’s the one with gas!’ But then the dog farted again, filling the house with the smell, and you tried to blame it on me.
A bewildered Angie remains silent as Mary continues to blame their family’s pet poodle Celia.
Mary jokes, ‘I eat a healthy diet, so my gas isn’t like that!’ She playfully suggests we need to be able to tell the difference between her gas and the dog’s.
Mary’s warning amid the dispute? “Next, I won’t tell you when I fart.”

Bravo’s Washington D.C. reality show featured four women—Mary Amons, Lynda Erkiletian, Cat Ommanney, and Stacie Scott Turner—who didn’t exactly leave a lasting impression. Plus, there was one woman so eager for attention that she actually crashed a party at the White House. We’ll get to her story shortly.
Who?
Vaguely familiar, but…
Once upon a time, DeShawn starred on the same TV show as NeNe Leakes. Surprising, we know.
This one-season Housewife brought nothing to the Orange County table.
The newest cast member on The Real Housewives of Utah had a dramatic and short-lived run. In January 2022, Jennie was let go from the show after old, offensive Facebook posts with racially insensitive content were discovered online. She did issue an apology, but the show decided to terminate her contract.
Her defining trait was “cougar.”
Dr. Jen didn’t cause much drama during season 16, and her short-lived marital issues with her husband, Ryne, weren’t very exciting. But we’ll always remember her getting noticeably drunk on wine at the Dubrows’ famously uncomfortable—but surprisingly fun—dinner party.
The nurse anesthetist’s initial season was a disaster, best remembered by the embarrassing incident now known as ‘Esophagus-gate.’
Katie frequently discussed her charitable efforts, but didn’t offer much beyond that on the show. She seemed to make a brief appearance and then didn’t really engage as a supportive friend. Plus, leaving the cast’s group trip early is generally considered a major mistake for a reality TV personality.
Charrisse is mostly remembered for her highly publicized marital issues during her two seasons on the show, as well as her famously lavish champagne room.
A one-and-done Housewife, Shamari was at least fun?
Although it was refreshing to see some diversity on The Real Housewives of Orange County, Peggy became a frustrating cast member in season 12. She frequently started strange arguments, often over misunderstandings of simple words, and her decision to isolate herself during the Iceland trip showed she wasn’t well-suited for the show’s lifestyle.
Nneka’s first season on the show focused on a dramatic and unbelievable accusation – she claimed Wendy Osefo’s mother was a witch. It was disappointing to see this as the main storyline, as it would have been much better to see Nneka and Wendy connect over their Nigerian heritage instead of being stuck in a conflict that never got resolved.
Noella brought a lot of energy to season 16, though it often felt chaotic. While viewers sympathized with her personal issues – her husband, James, unexpectedly filed for divorce just before filming began – it was her ongoing conflict with Heather Dubrow that kept her from being the least popular cast member. Perhaps with more time on the show, viewers will connect with Noella.
As a lifestyle observer, I’ve seen a lot of shifts in the Real Housewives world, but honestly, this particular Housewife’s decline was shocking. She started out as the peacemaker everyone loved, but within a single season, it all fell apart. It went from trying to keep the peace to constant complaining – even over a silly cake! – and unfortunately, some really serious and baseless accusations were made. It was one of the fastest and most dramatic falls from grace I’ve ever witnessed on the show.
Amber and Jim both appeared to be acting out of desperation. However, Jim seemed much more caught up in the resulting problems, which didn’t reflect well on him.
The only thing most people recall about Karent is that she worked as a dentist, and apparently, her colleagues didn’t get along with her. Moving on!
This was a real person with a show on Bravo. We promise.
Jules was only on RHONY for one season, so it’s hard to place her higher on a ranking list. Still, she definitely brought the drama during her time on the show.
So unnecessary they couldn’t even get individual taglines.
Similar to her co-star Sara Al Madani, Nina represented a modern, successful Arab woman who skillfully balances contemporary life with her cultural heritage. She generally stayed out of the season’s conflicts and, at times, was less noticeable than her more outgoing co-stars.
Taleen joined the second season of RHODubai and made a good impression, but it’s hard to fully evaluate her after just one season.
Although she appeared on seasons 11 and 12 of America’s Next Top Model, this reality star didn’t make a significant impact on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, mainly remembered for being pregnant throughout her time on the show. She did deliver a memorable confrontation with Marlo Hampton while in Tokyo, though!
Usually, we like to see how a new Housewife does over at least one full season before ranking them highly. But Katie made a huge impact right away on season 18 of RHOC, immediately challenging established Housewife Heather Dubrow. It takes guts to question someone like Ms. Fancypants!
To be frank, Stephanie didn’t really impress us. Although she had the potential to be a great Housewife thanks to her wealth, we were turned off by how she constantly used her private jet to control and manipulate the other cast members during season seven. It just didn’t sit right with us.
Maybe Steph can redeem herself if she returns for season eight.
Sara had a consistently positive and optimistic attitude, which made her a pleasure to be around, though things were rarely exciting with her – except for the memorable instance when her parenting advice didn’t go over well with her co-star, Caroline Brooks. More importantly, she challenged common ideas about modern Muslim women in the Middle East, and we admire her for doing so.
The new cast members on season 13 of RHONJ quickly fell into the familiar pattern of the show’s drama, getting caught up in a season-long argument that ultimately felt insignificant, even according to Andy Cohen. Sadly, they didn’t offer much more compelling content in season 14 either.
Larsa Pippen didn’t stand out much during her first season on the show before she departed. When The Real Housewives of Miami returned in 2021, a major focus of her story was her past friendship with Kim Kardashian – and her side hustle selling photos of her feet online.
After appearing on Bravo TV for one season, Ana tried out for Next Food Network Star in 2016, but wasn’t selected.
