Disney Dreamlight Valley Launches First Brand-New Halloween Event in 3 Years

One of the best things about Disney Dreamlight Valley, besides the large free updates and new characters, is its live events. Since the game launched in 2022, many holiday events have become yearly favorites. While these events get new content to stay fresh, players who have been enjoying Disney Dreamlight Valley for three years are hoping for some different experiences. Luckily, this year the game is introducing a new way to celebrate Halloween!

Halloween festivities are already underway in the Valley with the return of the popular Trick or Treat event, running from October 15th to 31st. This year, Disney Dreamlight Valley is adding a brand-new event called the Haunted Floating Festival, running from October 22nd to November 11th. Players can enjoy solving puzzles and exploring a new area, earning fun rewards along the way, in addition to collecting candy!

How to Participate in the Haunted Floating Festival Event in Disney Dreamlight Valley

This year’s Halloween event is a little different than simply going Trick or Treating. Instead of finding a letter to start, you’ll need to locate a special, and pretty noticeable, portal in the Plaza. This portal will take you to the new Haunted Floating Island, where you can explore and solve puzzles for prizes. Once you step through the portal, a list of the puzzles and your progress will appear in your Events tab.

The event kicks off on October 22nd with the first three puzzles available immediately. Starting October 29th, you can begin a new puzzle event at the Potion Brewer’s House, and the last puzzles in the Haunted Mansion unlock on November 5th. To collect all the prizes, players should regularly check Disney Dreamlight Valley throughout the event and solve the puzzles found on the Haunted Floating Island.

October 22nd Puzzles

Starting today, a new challenge is available on the Haunted Floating Island! You’ll need to solve three puzzles. First, discover what Zero, the ghostly fox, loves to eat. Next, unlock the secrets of some old pillars by figuring out the correct combinations. Finally, lift the curse on a howling tree by finding a special book that reveals the perfect gift to offer it. Good luck!

The puzzles will be playable for the duration of the event. Solve them fast, and you’ll unlock two extra puzzles to enjoy until the Haunted Floating Island event concludes on November 11th.

October 29th Puzzle

A new puzzle arrives in Disney Dreamlight Valley on October 29th! Players will be able to enter the previously blocked Potion Brewer’s House, now clear of Night Thorns. Inside, you’ll discover a recipe for a secret potion. The puzzle becomes available at midnight local time on October 29th, giving you time to get ready to brew!

November 5th Puzzle

To finish off its series of puzzles, Disney Dreamlight Valley is celebrating the Haunted Mansion attraction from Walt Disney World. On November 5th, players will be able to test their knowledge with a Haunted Mansion-themed quiz for a unique reward. The quiz becomes available at midnight local time on November 5th.

Okay, so the festival area is going to look really seasonal and pretty, but it’s different from our own islands – we can’t customize it at all! Also, you won’t be able to take DreamSnaps there, but don’t worry, getting back to the Valley is easy – just use the Wishing Well or open up your map whenever you want.
