Nintendo is known for keeping secret the development teams behind its own games, such as with the game “Donkey Kong Bananza” which was later acknowledged as being developed by the same team as “Super Mario Odyssey”. Although they didn’t reveal this information about “Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour“, an update to the studio’s website has now officially confirmed it.
The developer in question, recognized for the popular “Mario Party” series, is none other than Nintendo Cube. Their latest releases within this franchise include “Super Mario Party Jamboree,” which will see a new edition on the Nintendo Switch 2 with additional content on July 24th. Furthermore, they have also released the well-liked game, “Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics.
Nintendo Cube, despite its many successful titles, isn’t without its share of less popular games such as “Everybody 1-2-Switch” and “Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival” for the Wii U. Additionally, it includes “Welcome Tour”, a game that faced considerable criticism due to its $10 price tag, which many considered exorbitant for what was essentially a tech demo. The game also received negative feedback from critics with a Metascore of 55 based on 46 reviews.
