Kim Kardashian is speaking up about her health diagnosis.
In the next season of The Kardashians, the 45-year-old businesswoman and beauty icon will share details about a health issue she’s been facing.
In a preview clip from the show’s recent premiere on October 22nd, Kim revealed she was experiencing a small aneurysm. She explained doctors initially attributed it to stress, and the clip then showed her undergoing an MRI scan where the issue was identified. Her sister, Kourtney Kardashian, reacted with shock, saying, “Whoa.”
In one particularly emotional moment, Kim breaks down in tears and asks, “Why is this happening to me?”
Kim attributed some of the stress in her life to her divorce from Kanye West, which was finalized in 2022 after six years of marriage, and explained how it has affected her physical health.
Kim Kardashian noticed her psoriasis was returning while filming the season premiere, telling a producer, ‘I haven’t had a flare-up since my divorce, and now it’s just starting to come back.’ She added that it seems to happen whenever she’s feeling stressed.
Kim admitted she’s been under a lot of pressure lately. She’s dealing with a flare-up of her psoriasis and feels particularly stressed because she’s focused on protecting her children—North, 12, Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 6—who are becoming more involved in things.
The actress from All’s Fair didn’t share specific details about her struggles with the rapper known as “Famous,” but she did say it’s affecting their children.

She confessed that this was the first time one of her children seemed to understand what was going on. She’d managed to keep it hidden for a long time, and she realized she’d fallen into a pattern of feeling protective and responsible, almost as if she was defending the situation herself. This time, though, she didn’t feel personally accountable.
Honestly, all the rumors swirling around my ex and claims about not letting him see our kids have been incredibly stressful. It’s just added a lot of unnecessary pressure to my life, and I’m really trying to focus on what’s best for our children amidst it all.
She explained it’s frustrating because rumors spread online claiming she’s taking the children, even though their father hasn’t contacted her. She sees these claims on platforms like Twitter, and it’s upsetting since they aren’t true or logical. She feels she can’t constantly respond to all the misinformation.
She clarified, ‘This isn’t about someone taking the children; it’s a divorce. We haven’t moved away – we’re still at the same house, so he knows exactly where to find them.’
Ultimately, Kim had to find peace on her own after being unable do to so with her former husband.
She told a producer she wasn’t concerned with the situation. She acknowledged it was very sad, but said she couldn’t dwell on it and needed to focus on other priorities.

Amy Schumer is grateful for the internet, surprisingly, because it helped her discover a health issue. After noticing people commenting on her “puffy” face during interviews, she was shocked when doctors began leaving comments suggesting she might have Cushing syndrome, a condition often caused by high cortisol levels or steroid injections. This prompted her to realize she’d been receiving steroid injections after a breast reduction and C-section. Schumer explained she wouldn’t have known about the condition without the online comments. Thankfully, doctors determined her case of Cushing syndrome would resolve on its own, which she described as “the greatest news imaginable.” She shared this relief in a February 2024 newsletter, happy to be healthy.

In March 2022, Hailey Bieber experienced a frightening health scare while having breakfast with her husband, Justin Bieber. She suddenly began to have stroke-like symptoms, struggling to speak and noticing her face drooping. Although the symptoms eventually passed, she went to the hospital for testing. Doctors discovered she had a small blood clot in her brain, which they identified as a TIA, or transient ischemic attack. Further examination at UCLA revealed Hailey had a hole in her heart called a patent foramen ovale (PFO). This hole allowed the blood clot to travel to her brain, causing the TIA. Hailey has since undergone a successful procedure to close the PFO and is now doing well.

The same year Hailey faced a health issue, Justin also experienced one. In June 2022, he revealed he had been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which caused temporary paralysis on one side of his face. This forced him to cancel the rest of his Justice World Tour.
In a video posted to Instagram, Justin explained the condition affected the nerves in his ear and face, preventing him from blinking, smiling, or moving his nostril on the affected side. He also shared that it had become increasingly difficult for him to eat.
Fortunately, the paralysis eventually went away. Hailey shared on Good Morning America that Justin was recovering well, adding that while the situation was frightening and unexpected, he was going to be okay and she was thankful he was fine.

In his 2024 Netflix special, What Had Happened Was…, Foxx explained that he was suffering from a severe headache when he suddenly lost consciousness. He doesn’t remember the next twenty days.
He initially saw a doctor who gave him a cortisone shot and sent him home, but his sister, Deidra Dixon, became worried and took him to the hospital. There, doctors discovered he had a brain bleed that led to a stroke.
Twenty days after surgery, on May 4th, Foxx woke up in a wheelchair unable to walk. He then traveled to Chicago for rehabilitation and therapy. He expressed his gratitude for the prayers he received, saying, “I needed every prayer.”

While filming the show, she experienced a sudden, severe headache while at the gym. She described collapsing and being violently ill, quickly realizing something was seriously wrong with her brain.
A hospital scan revealed she’d suffered a subarachnoid hemorrhage, a life-threatening stroke caused by a ruptured aneurysm. She immediately underwent surgery to repair it, but the pain was excruciating. During her recovery, she temporarily lost her ability to speak, often muttering incoherently.
Though she was discharged after a month, a 2013 scan revealed the aneurysm had grown and required a second surgery. This procedure failed, causing a major bleed and putting her life at risk. Doctors had to perform a more invasive surgery, accessing her brain directly through her skull.
Fortunately, Emilia Clarke is now fully recovered and says she’s “at a hundred per cent.”

Determined to find answers, Woodley combined traditional medical care with holistic and herbal remedies, drawing on her background in herbalism. This search for well-being lasted for ten years.
The physical discomfort led to deeper issues, including fear of food and struggles with body image, identity, and feeling safe in her own body. However, after focusing on both her physical and mental health, Woodley is now doing much better. She happily reports that her health issues have resolved and she is currently very healthy.
