Kylie Jenner Reacts to Criticism of Dress for Hailey Bieber’s Wedding

Kylie Jenner is keeping up with one of her viral looks.

Kim Kardashian recently talked about the backlash she got for her outfit at Hailey and Justin Bieber’s wedding back in 2018.

Kylie Jenner, 28, mentioned on the October 22nd episode of Vogue’s Life in Looks that some people seemed bothered by how extravagant she was, but she doesn’t believe Hailey and Justin Bieber minded. She jokingly added, “Hailey, let me know if you disagree!”

Kylie Jenner wowed everyone at the event in a stunning gold gown by J’Aton Couture. The dress was already eye-catching, but she completed the look with unique accessories: a crystal butterfly hairpin and a matching purse. Kylie shares two children, 7-year-old Stormi and 3-year-old Aire, with her ex, Travis Scott.

While many found her outfit beautiful, some fans on X thought it was too eye-catching for a guest at the event.

One person online expressed disbelief that Kylie Jenner wore a gold, metallic dress to Justin’s wedding. Another user jokingly threatened that anyone who showed up to their wedding in a similar outfit would be asked to leave – and might even get a red wine stain on their dress in the process.

Even though Kylie is dating Timothée Chalamet, and she says she wouldn’t wear the outfit again, she doesn’t regret her decision.

She explained in her interview with Vogue that she expected everyone to really dress up and have a great time. She particularly loved the outfit she wore and had such a good time, she was the last guest to leave the wedding.

The founder of Khy wouldn’t wear this dress again, but she recently brought back her early 2015 persona, ‘King Kylie.’ To celebrate that time and the 10th anniversary of Kylie Cosmetics, she’s re-releasing some of the brand’s original products, like her famous lip kits.

Kylie celebrated the 10-year anniversary of her cosmetic line with an Instagram post on October 12th. She expressed her gratitude to her fans, saying the ‘King Kylie Collection’ was made for them and that their support made her biggest dreams come true.
