Netflix viewers often have to wait a long time for new seasons of their favorite shows. However, the wait is already over for fans of one particularly popular series. While many are eagerly anticipating the fifth and final season of Stranger Things after a three-year gap, and premiere dates for shows like Wednesday and One Piece are still to come, fans of another hit show can already enjoy a brand new season – episodes were released just a year after the show first launched.
Season 2 of the romantic comedy series Nobody Wants This arrived on Netflix on October 23rd. All ten episodes are now available to stream, and each one is about 30 minutes long. The show, created by Erin Foster and based on her own relationship, stars Kristen Bell and Adam Brody as Joanne and Noah – a sex podcast host and a rabbi, respectively – who fall for each other despite their different backgrounds and interfering families. Justine Lupe, Timothy Simons, and Jackie Tohn also star, and Leighton Meester and Seth Rogen join the cast this season.

Season 2 of Nobody Wants This is receiving positive attention, with The Guardian praising it as another season that proves the show is highly enjoyable and leaves viewers wanting more. The new season focuses on the relationship between Joanne and Noah as they navigate family issues, career challenges, and a significant question mark hanging over their future. Like Season 1, it’s described as a pleasure to watch, and fans will wish there were more episodes. The chemistry between Bell and Brody remains strong, and the supporting cast gets more time to shine.
Will There Be a Nobody Wants This Season 3?
Unfortunately, there are currently no plans for a third season of Nobody Wants This, meaning fans won’t be seeing more of Joanne and Noah’s relationship anytime soon. While Netflix hasn’t renewed the show yet, a third season isn’t entirely off the table. The first season was a critical and commercial success – earning a “Certified Fresh” rating on Rotten Tomatoes and becoming one of Netflix’s strongest comedy debuts, racking up over 26 million views in its first 11 days. If Season 2 performs as well, a renewal is likely, but fans will have to wait for an official announcement.
