I’m seeing the list of new games coming to Xbox Game Pass, and it covers a bit of a longer period than usual – we’re looking at releases for the latter half of October 2025, stretching into the first few days of November.
This month’s selection of games is quite varied, but Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers are really getting the best deals. I’m excited because I know at least one of these games will keep me entertained for hours!
I’ve reviewed the original announcement on News.Xbox.com, but I’ve gathered everything important here for you. Plus, I have a little extra news to share that wasn’t in the initial release from Xbox!

I’m already playing The Outer Worlds 2 (it’s awesome)

I’m especially excited about The Outer Worlds 2 – and I’ve already had a chance to play it thanks to a code from Xbox Game Studios. I’m really enjoying this new sci-fi RPG from Obsidian Entertainment, and I have a strong feeling it will be one of my top games this year.
In our full, in-depth The Outer Worlds 2 review, my colleague, Samuel Tolbert, said:
The Outer Worlds 2 doesn’t offer groundbreaking changes, but it improves on a successful formula. It features enhanced exploration and combat, creating a satisfying role-playing experience with meaningful choices and challenges. While the main story is a bit more serious than the first game, the side quests remain lighthearted and funny. Despite a few minor glitches, this is a game you won’t want to skip.
Besides the upcoming The Outer Worlds 2, there’s plenty to be excited about! PowerWash Simulator 2 is available today, and Football Manager 26 will launch in early November. Plus, Pacific Drive just released on Xbox with a new expansion, and it’s immediately available with Game Pass – that’s great news!
This is a good selection of games for Xbox Game Pass, although the games released earlier in October were more exciting. You can find a complete, up-to-date list of new and upcoming Game Pass titles on Windows Central.

FAQ
How did Xbox Game Pass change?
Xbox Game Pass has been updated with new plans – Essential, Premium, PC, and Ultimate – and some price increases. The PC plan now costs $16.49 per month instead of $11.99, and the Ultimate plan has jumped to $29.99 per month from $19.99. For full details, check out our Xbox Game Pass FAQ.
Is Xbox Game Pass still worth it?
Whether Xbox Game Pass is worth it really depends on your gaming habits. If you like trying lots of different games, it quickly pays for itself – and that’s before you even consider the extra benefits. However, if you usually focus on just a few major games, especially those that are constantly updated (like Call of Duty), you might not get much value out of it. Personally, I plan to keep my subscription.
Which Xbox Game Pass tier should I choose?
Ultimately, the best choice depends on your gaming habits! Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is ideal for players who want access to everything and play games on multiple platforms. If you only game on PC, PC Game Pass is the way to go. And Xbox Game Pass Premium offers a good balance for those who want a mix of both.
What’s the best deal on Xbox Game Pass right now?
You can currently get three months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for $54.99 at Amazon. That’s a great price, considering a single month usually costs $30, meaning you’ll save quite a bit of money.
Can I stack Xbox Game Pass codes?
Yes, you can! You can combine up to 36 months – or three years – of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. It’s a smart idea to watch for sales and add time to your subscription whenever possible, so you’re protected from price changes until your prepaid time is used up.
