Simogo is releasing a collection of its earliest games, called Simogo Legacy Collection, on consoles and PC for the first time. You’ll be able to find it on Switch 2, Switch, and Steam starting December 2nd for $14.99.
Here is an overview of the collection, via Simogo:
About
The Simogo Legacy Collection brings together the first seven games from Simogo, now available on consoles and PC for the very first time. This collection showcases the variety of Simogo’s early work – from simple, charming arcade games to unique text-based adventures and critically praised stories that play with the idea of what a game can be. It features updated versions of games originally released on mobile devices between 2010 and 2015.
Games like Kosmo Spin, Bumpy Road, Beat Sneak Bandit, Year Walk (and its companion app), DEVICE 6, The Sailor’s Dream, and SPL-T have collectively sold over 1.5 million copies. They’ve also received recognition in the form of awards from the Independent Games Festival and Apple Design Awards, as well as nominations for BAFTA and Game Developers Choice Awards.
The Simogo Legacy Collection also includes extra goodies – a carefully chosen selection of items from Simogo’s past. This features things like side projects, music, image galleries, and playable early versions of their games, such as:
- Year Walk Bedtime Stories for Awful Children – E-book.
- The Lighthouse Painting – Audio drama Podcast.
- Music – Tracks from Simogo’s history, including previously unreleased tracks.
- Images – Illustrations from Simogo’s archive.
- Year Walk Prototype – Playable prototype.
- Bumpy Road Prototype – Playable prototype.
- Rollovski Prototype – Playable prototype.
- The Sensational December Machine – Playable short story.
