Sony has officially announced that Stray will be added to the PlayStation Plus Essential lineup on November 4th, confirming recent reports. EA Sports WRC 24 and Totally Accurate Battle Simulator will also be available to subscribers.
In Stray, you play as a cat who gets separated and ends up in a mysterious city populated by robots. Along with a helpful drone companion named B-12, you’ll explore the rundown streets and alleys while trying to avoid the Zurk – strange creatures that devour anything they can find.
The 2022 game Stray was well-received by critics and won several awards, such as Best Independent Game and Best Debut Game at The Game Awards.
Alongside other games, EA Sports WRC 24 is available on PlayStation 5. It includes familiar modes like Career, Championship, and Time Trial, and features cars from the 2024 WRC, WRC2, and Junior WRC seasons. Totally Accurate Battle Simulator is also out for both PS4 and PS5, letting you simulate battles with hundreds of funny, wobbly characters, and even play with others online.
These three games – Alan Wake 2, Cocoon, and Goat Simulator 3 – will be available until December 1st after they launch. If you want to play them, you have until next week to subscribe to the Essential plan or a higher tier.
