It’s time! For Mariah Carey’s Halloween costume, that is.
As a huge Mariah Carey fan, I was absolutely living for her Halloween look this year! She really cemented her status as the Queen of everything, even spooky season, with this adorable, Japanese Kawaii-inspired costume. And it was even sweeter seeing her kids, Monroe and Moroccan, join in the fun with her! It’s so lovely to see them all enjoying Halloween together.
Mariah posted several photos of their costumes on Instagram on October 31st, with the caption, “Happy Halloween from Japan!!!”
In the photos, the 56-year-old was seen wearing a playful outfit that included a long, pink wig styled in pigtails and a frilly white shirt. She paired this with a short, puffy blue skirt, ruffled white socks, silver heels, and white lace gloves. She also carried a white parasol, which was useful for staying dry in the rain.
For their Halloween costumes, the teenagers chose comfortable, cute outfits inspired by Kawaii culture, which celebrates all things adorable and childlike. Moroccan wore a white animal onesie, and Monroe dressed in a yellow one, adding a painted nose and freckles to complete the look.
Mariah had a cute encounter with Hello Kitty and Dear Daniel, two popular characters from Japan. They were all dressed in costumes for Halloween, celebrating the Day of the Dead, and happily posed for a picture together.
This was a sweet moment, quite different from the spooky fun Monroe and Moroccan recently had with their dad, Nick, at Knott’s Berry Farm in California.
Nick, 45, shared a photo from a fun night at Knott’s Scary Farm on Instagram. He wrote, ‘Last night was a thriller!’ and mentioned the whole group was there. He also said his twins had a blast getting scared!
As a lifestyle expert, I’m always fascinated by how families celebrate! Recently, I learned that Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon’s twins, Monroe and Moroccan, are big fans of a good scare. For their birthday back in April, they opted for a really cool, low-key party at The Basement, which is this awesome horror-themed escape room here in Los Angeles. It sounds like they had a blast!
Nick described the birthday party as surprisingly amazing and fun, especially for Roc, Roe, and their friends! He jokingly added that he was happy to be included as a chaperone.
