News of Keanu Reeves Shiver movie
Keanu Reeves is starring in a new movie called ‘Shiver’ that’s being compared to both ‘Edge of Tomorrow’ and ‘The Shallows’. That’s an unusual combination – ‘Edge of Tomorrow’ is a sci-fi action film about a soldier reliving the same day during an alien attack, and ‘The Shallows’ is a thrilling shark survival story!
Who is directing?
Ian Shorr, who previously wrote the script for Antoine Fuqua’s ‘Infinite,’ has penned the new script. Tim Miller, known for his visual effects work and later directing ‘Deadpool,’ will direct. He also directed ‘Terminator: Dark Fate,’ which aimed to revive the franchise but wasn’t a success – though it wasn’t the worst Terminator film ever made (looking at you, ‘Genysis’!). More recently, Miller created the critically acclaimed animated anthology series ‘Love, Death & Robots’ on Netflix.
What is Keanu Reeves Shiver movie about?
Details about the plot of ‘Shivers’ have been kept secret, but here’s what we know: It follows a troubled smuggler who gets caught in a dangerous betrayal during a Caribbean job. He quickly finds himself facing numerous dead bodies, aggressive mercenaries, and even sharks! Things take a bizarre turn when he discovers he’s trapped in a deadly time loop and desperately tries to escape it.
Keanu’s film future?
Although his recent films Ballerina (which, let’s be honest, was surprisingly good, especially with Ana de Armas wielding a flamethrower!) and the comedy Good Fortune didn’t do well, Keanu Reeves remains a popular actor. There’s a lot of excitement for BRZRKR, a Netflix series based on his own comic book, and rumors continue to circulate about a fifth John Wick movie!
But for the moment that’s all we know about the Keanu Reeves Shiver movie
