ARC Raiders features quests that reward you with experience points and loot. While some quests are challenging, the “Straight Record” quest from Celeste is relatively easy. This guide will walk you through the locations and objectives needed to complete it and claim your rewards.
Old EMP Trap
For this task, go to Victory Ridge on the Dam Battlegrounds map. Your first goal is to find the old EMP device. Be aware that it’s hazy, which will make it harder to see, so use your map to help you navigate.
When you arrive, head to the marked location to find and activate the old EMP Trap. Once you do, you’ll need to turn off three power switches in the area.
Disable the First Power Switch
You’ll find the first switch on a hilltop near the main EMP. Use the compass at the top of your screen and head north – a waypoint on your map will lead you directly to it. Once you reach the location, interact with the object to complete this step.
Disable the Second Power Switch
Now you need to find the second switch. To get there, head southeast from the top of the hill.
You’ll find a generator you need to climb up. After that, climb the wall and jump onto the beam. The switch you need is on the other side, so interact with it, then head to the final switch.
Disable the Third Power Switch
To activate the last switch, drop down to your right after hitting the second one. Walk southwest for a short distance, then continue south until you see a pole with a wire attached.
Keep following the wire until you spot a fallen tree on your left and a pole on your right. The third switch is right next to the tree, and the wire connects to it. If you’re getting lost, double-check your map.
Shut Down the EMP Trap
Once you’ve turned off all three switches, go back to the first EMP device. You’ll need to interact with it one last time to disable the EMP Trap and finish the Straight Record quest.
That wraps up the Straight Record quest in ARC Raiders! It’s a simple mission that rewards you with a nice amount of experience and loot, so it’s definitely worth finishing. Just disable those EMPs and continue advancing through the Dam Battlegrounds.
