ARC Raiders has launched successfully after a period of testing with players. The development team, Embark, isn’t slowing down – they’ve announced a detailed plan for updates and new content covering November and December.
A free update called North Line is coming this month, adding the new Stella Montis map to the game. Players can also expect two new enemy machines – the Matriarch and the Shredder – plus a community event, additional quests, and new items to discover.
So, December’s bringing a ton of cool stuff! The whole game world’s getting covered in snow with the Cold Snap event, and there’s this new Flickering Flames thing happening too. Plus, they’re adding more Raider decks and quests, which is awesome – always need more to do!
Embark plans to continue supporting Arc Raiders with new content for a long time, and this is only the beginning. Here’s a look at what’s planned for the rest of 2025:

This new content will further enhance the PS5’s online experience, which we’ve already praised as one of the best multiplayer games available right now.
Okay, so I just finished playing Arc Raiders on my PS5, and honestly, I’m blown away! I’d give it a 9 out of 10. It’s a fantastic example of how immersive multiplayer should be – every time you play, it feels fresh and different, and you and your team always end up with some crazy stories. It can be pretty challenging if you try to go it alone, and the whole ‘extract before you get wiped’ thing isn’t for everyone. But honestly, for this type of shooter, it’s really easy to pick up, and it doesn’t waste your time. You genuinely have fun right from your first match!
