Hulu Just Kickstarted the Holiday Season With a Bunch of New Christmas Movie Additions

Hulu is getting a head start on the holidays! The streaming service recently added over a dozen Christmas movies, just in time as the weather gets colder and stores switch from Halloween to holiday decorations. Now’s the perfect time to cozy up with a blanket, hot chocolate, and a Christmas movie marathon, and Hulu makes it easy with a bunch of new festive titles added on November 1st.

When November began, Hulu added a lot of new movies and shows to its streaming library, including 13 Christmas and holiday-themed films. This makes Hulu a great place to find festive content this month. Viewers can enjoy classic favorites like the original Miracle on 34th Street and its 1994 version, as well as popular films like Love Actually and Deck the Halls. Hulu also added the new holiday romantic comedy Joy to the World, which is also available on Disney+.

Here’s a list of holiday-themed movies: Bad Tidings, The Best Man Holiday, Deck the Halls, The Family Stone, Happy Christmas, The Heist Before Christmas, Ice Age: A Mammoth Christmas, Jingle All the Way, Joy to the World (scheduled for release in 2025), Last Holiday, and Love Actually. Also included are two versions of Miracle on 34th Street – the original from 1947 and a remake from 1994.

More Christmas Content Is Coming to Hulu

Hulu is continuing the holiday fun throughout November! After launching a bunch of Christmas content on November 1st, even more titles are coming. On November 4th, you can stream the heartwarming comedy-drama Christmas Eve in Miller’s Point, which follows a family celebrating what might be their last Christmas together in their family home. Later in the month, Seasons 4-6 of Christmas Cookie Challenge arrive on November 22nd, followed by Toys and Colors Holiday Spectacular on November 27th, and Seasons 5-8 of Holiday Baking Championship on November 29th.

Hulu is adding even more holiday titles in December, building on its existing collection that already includes classics like Frosty the Snowman, The Little Drummer Boy, Nutcrackers, Happiest Season, and even Die Hard. You can also find festive episodes of popular shows such as Gilmore Girls, Family Guy, Modern Family, and How I Met Your Mother.

What’s New on Hulu?

Okay, so maybe you’re not quite in the Christmas spirit yet, and that’s totally fine! If you’re looking for something to watch on Hulu that isn’t all about snow and Santa, they’ve got you covered this November. I was pleasantly surprised to see a bunch of great films added, including classics like 13 Going On 30, The Princess Bride, and The Sound of Music (the original, from 1965!). They also added some more recent titles like The Interview (from 2014), Julie & Julia, and even Ridley Scott’s The Last Duel. Definitely something for everyone!
