The Osbourne family is buzzing with joy about this announcement:

After a gap of approximately two and a half years since Kelly Osbourne, daughter of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, gave birth to her son Sidney in November 2022 with musician Sid Wilson, the couple has made their engagement public.

The proposal transpired at Ozzy’s last concert with his band Black Sabbath at Villa Park soccer stadium in Birmingham, England, on July 5.

The Slipknot member expressed his deep love for Kelly, stating that nothing could bring him more joy than spending the rest of his life with her. He then proposed in front of family and friends, a moment which took Kelly by surprise but ended with her saying yes. She shared a photo of the emotional proposal on Instagram, indicating her acceptance with the caption “I think this picture says it all!

In a July 8 Instagram video, Kelly expressed, “There are days when you wake up feeling astonished by your life. It’s hard to believe that your life has shifted from being centered on personal struggles to focusing on blessings. That’s exactly how I feel now, and it’s absolutely wonderful.

In an Instagram video posted by jewelry brand Mouawad, Sid shared that he affectionately calls Kelly “Honey Bee.” Interestingly enough, a friend of hers, Joan Rivers, also used this nickname. Reflecting on the playful yet meaningful name because of how Kelly is always energetic and spreads positivity like a bee, Sid decided to create a special piece that embodies this theme. Together with Mouawad, he designed an 18K yellow gold ring featuring a central brilliant round white diamond, surrounded by smaller white and yellow diamonds and citrine gems arranged in a honeycomb pattern.

Sid was pleasantly surprised when he first saw the ring,” he remarked, “it’s not just as good as I anticipated, it’s magical – like something out of a fairy tale.

The event was merely one aspect of a memorable day for the Osbournes, as Ozzy, who has faced Parkinson’s disease and other health troubles in recent times, took to the stage with his heavy metal band to perform. With their presence, his dear ones added an extra touch of sweetness to that special moment.

As shared by Jack Osbourne on Instagram alongside a video of his children watching the performance, “It never grows old,” he wrote. “I’m still captivated by grand-dad.”

Hailing from Birmingham, England, the legendary rocker known as Ozzy Osbourne, or John Michael Osbourne, was born in 1948. It took another two decades before his heavy metal band, Black Sabbath, comprising Ozzy, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward, made their debut in the music scene.

In 1971, Ozzy tied the knot with Thelma Riley. Their family grew to include children Louis, Jessica, and Elliot Kingsley from Thelma’s previous relationship. However, fame’s glamour had a darker side for Ozzy, as he admitted in the 2020 documentary “Biography: The Nine Lives of Ozzy Osbourne,” confessing to misbehavior fueled by alcohol and drugs.

In 1979, Ozzy was dismissed from Black Sabbath and embarked on his solo career. His marriage with Thelma ended in 1982, followed by his wedding to Sharon Osbourne, whose father managed Black Sabbath that same year.

Throughout their relationship, Ozzy and Sharon have been open about their struggles—which included domestic violence and infidelity—and triumphs, such as welcoming children Aimee, Kelly, and Jack in the 1980s and reaffirming their vows in 2017.

Much of their personal journey was showcased on their reality series “The Osbournes,” which aired from 2002 to 2005.

Recently, Ozzy has scaled back his public appearances due to health issues, including battling Parkinson’s disease and recovering from injuries sustained in a 2003 ATV accident. Nevertheless, he performed in Black Sabbath’s final show in July 2025.

Sharon, born in 1952, started managing Ozzy Osbourne in 1979 after his separation from Black Sabbath, and their professional partnership soon evolved into a romantic relationship. As the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer confessed in “Biography: The Nine Lives of Ozzy Osbourne,” he was still married at the time, but fell in love with Sharon.

Sharon has also managed groups such as The Smashing Pumpkins, Motorhead, and The Electric Light Orchestra. However, her career diversified into television following the family’s groundbreaking series. Apart from starring on “The Osbournes,” she competed on “Celebrity Apprentice,” served as a judge on “The X Factor” and “America’s Got Talent,” and hosted “The Talk” for 11 years before her 2021 dismissal.

Like Ozzy, Sharon has been open about her health struggles over the years, including her 2002 victory over colon cancer, a 2012 preventive double mastectomy, and a 2022 hospitalization. Despite life’s highs and lows, the couple continues to be each other’s greatest supporters.

“We’re two oddballs,” Sharon shared with TopMob News in 2023, “and we were two wild young people who found each other. I think we’re cut from the same mold. It hasn’t been easy. No relationship is easy, and you have to work at it. You get your ugly times, your bad times, and your horrific times. But if you love each other, you’ll work through it.

Aimee, born in September 1983, is the eldest among Ozzy and Sharon’s trio of children and shares their passion for music. She has showcased her talent not only as a solo artist but also with the band ARO. Unlike her family members, she chose to stay out of the limelight during the 2000s when the popular reality show, The Osbournes, was airing. In an interview on The Michael Anthony Show in 2021, she explained her decision, stating that she wanted to protect her privacy and avoid being overshadowed by her father’s media presence. She also felt that it wasn’t the right fit for her career aspirations, as she was determined to make a name for herself independently.

Despite choosing to stay out of the public eye in many aspects, Aimee has still made appearances, such as acting in MTV’s Wuthering Heights adaptation in 2003 and providing voiceovers for the 2014 animated film Postman Pat: The Movie. She also starred in her own music videos.

Regarding her relationship with her siblings, Kelly has stated that they don’t communicate much. In an interview on Armchair Expert With Dax Shepard in 2024, she mentioned, “We don’t talk. We’re just really different. She doesn’t understand me, I don’t understand her.

Kelly, the youngest daughter of Sharon and Ozzy, was born 13 months after her sister. She’s a versatile individual, known for acting in shows like “Life as We Know It” and “So Undercover”, singing with Miley Cyrus, judging competitions on shows such as “Project Runway: Junior” and “Australia’s Got Talent”, designing clothing, hosting TV series like “Project Catwalk” and “Lego Masters Jr.”, and even appearing on reality shows like “The Osbournes” and “Dancing With the Stars”.

Throughout her life in the public eye, Kelly has been open about her struggles, including her past addiction issues (she’s now sober), previous relationships with Luke Worrall and Matthew Mosshart, and criticism she faced regarding her body. In 2024, she shared with Us Weekly, “My life has come a long way, and I am so grateful for every mistake I made in my life, for every lesson learned, for all of it. I have such an incredible life. What could I possibly complain about?”

This remarkable life includes her son, Sidney, born in November 2022, and her fiancĂ©, Sid Wilson, who proposed in July 2025. Speaking to Us Weekly, Kelly said, “Sidney arriving 18 months after I got sober, ‘I truly believe that my baby saved me and made me a whole human.’ I don’t think I knew what love was before having him. Born in November 1985, Jack, the youngest child of Sharon and Ozzy, made his debut. After gaining fame on their reality show, he tried his hand at acting, landing minor roles on shows like ‘Dawson’s Creek’ and the Olsen twins’ movie ‘New York Minute’. Additionally, Jack has been a regular on various reality and competition shows such as ‘Union Jack’, ‘Jack Osbourne: Adrenaline Junkie’, ‘Dancing With the Stars’, and ‘Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test’.

Beyond acting, he’s also ventured into production, creating documentaries like ‘God Bless Ozzy Osbourne’ in 2011 and the 2013 series ‘Alpha Dogs’. Jack often combines these roles, producing and starring in shows like ‘Ozzy & Jack’s World Detour’ and his paranormal series ‘Portals to Hell’.

Jack has been open about sharing his personal life with fans, discussing topics such as his mental health battles, journey towards sobriety in 2003, and his multiple sclerosis diagnosis in 2012. In an interview with ‘Today’ in 2017, he stated, “I look at the diagnosis as a huge silver lining to be honest. Before this, I would just be a typical 20-something-year-old and lounge around. Now, I don’t waste days. I’m always doing something and trying to accomplish something.”

He is also thankful for his family, consisting of daughters Pearl, Andy, Minnie with ex-wife Lisa Stelly, and daughter Maple with wife Aree Gearheart.

In their childhood, Ozzy spent significant periods of time away due to tours, making for an unpredictable upbringing as they adjusted to his returns and settled back into routine before he departed again. When at home, he often visited pubs, but when sober, he was a wonderful father according to Louis. However, these instances were relatively rare. Post-divorce, Ozzy maintained contact with his children, including the birth of his first grandchild which was documented on The Osbournes. Today, due to Ozzy’s reduced touring schedule and their residences in different countries, they have sporadic meetings, usually at random locations like New York hotels or special occasions. Nonetheless, they consistently keep in touch with each other, with Ozzy regularly calling Louis on Sundays and visiting the UK. Not much is known about Elliot, one of Ozzy’s sons, publicly.
