Paddy Dingle is increasingly worried about his father, Bear Wolf, and viewers will soon learn what happened to him after he vanished from the village back in July.

Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) is anxious that people will discover she’s secretly pregnant. She was originally intended to be a surrogate for her granddaughter, Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill), but is actually carrying her own child.

1. Eve Dingle thinks she’s spotted Bear Wolf

I was shocked to learn that Bear hasn’t actually been where he said he was! He left back in July after a fight with his son, Paddy, and told everyone he was staying with friends in Ireland. But apparently, the show’s going to reveal this week that he never went anywhere near Ireland at all. It’s a pretty big twist!

As we’ll find out, he’s actually been sleeping rough in a barn. But why has this happened?

Paddy is worried because his dad didn’t contact him on his daughter Eve’s birthday, so he’s decided to report it to the police.

Andy Moore, known as PC Swirling, doesn’t believe there’s anything to worry about. Paddy feels he isn’t treating the situation with the seriousness it deserves.

Mandy promises to join her husband in the search for Bear. Meanwhile, Matty Barton kindly offers to distract young Eve and Isaac with a walk, hoping to keep them from realizing something is wrong. During the walk, Matty playfully suggests they go on a ‘Bear hunt’.

Eve is excited, and quickly shouts out that she’s seen her grandfather.

Matty apologises to Paddy and Mandy for confusing her, but could she really have seen him?

2. Charity Dingle worries that Ross Barton will expose their big secret

Recently, Ross Barton has been getting friendly with Mackenzie Boyd, Charity’s husband, and it’s a risky move that could cause trouble.

Next week, she’s shocked to discover Ross is getting increasingly involved, and she becomes truly worried when a drunk Mack reveals that he and his new partner share everything with each other.

3. A special episode follows Robert Sugden’s life in prison

Many questions remain about Robert’s time in prison, and the circumstances surrounding his marriage to fellow criminal, Kev Townsend (Chris Coghill).
