November 2025’s PlayStation Plus Essential games are now available to download, but one of the included titles might seem a bit strange at first.
So, EA Sports WRC is one of the free games this month, which is cool. But here’s the thing – it’s a bit weird. You might actually end up grabbing and playing an earlier version of the game instead, which is kinda strange but still fun, I guess!
EA Sports WRC was originally released in 2023, and a recent update and downloadable content have brought the game current for the 2024 season.
When you download the game from the PlayStation Store, two different versions are added to your game library. One is the original release, and the other is the newer 2024 version.
Getting the newer version of EA Sports WRC gives you the full game with all the extra content included, saving you from having to purchase it separately.
If you’re going to play this game through PS Plus, be sure to download the version with the 2024 updates.
