Butler has become a major action star since his breakout role in Zack Snyder’s 300, going on to appear in films like Law Abiding Citizen, Hunter Killer, and Olympus Has Fallen. Now, viewers are rediscovering Den of Thieves, with some even saying it’s as good as the classic crime film Heat! The movie recently got a sequel, adding to its popularity.

You can currently watch Den of Thieves on Tubi for free. It’s actually the second most popular movie on the platform right now, behind the BET+ original film Call Her King. Released in 2018, Den of Thieves was directed by Christian Gudegast, who also directed the 2025 sequel, Den of Thieves 2: Pantera.
