AMATA Games will publish the robot shooting game Changeable Guardian ESTIQUE on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC (via Steam and the Microsoft Store) in 2026. The game was developed by Cat Hui Trading LLC.
Changeable Guardian ESTIQUE was originally released for the Famicom/Nintendo Entertainment System on December 16, 2024.
AMATA Games is bringing the game to today’s consoles and computers. The release will feature both the original Japanese version (Famicom) and the North American version (Nintendo Entertainment System), each with its own unique story, plus a new gallery of content.

Originally created in the 21st century, Changeable Guardian ESTIQUE is a brand new game designed for the classic Nintendo Entertainment System, and has since been adapted for modern consoles and PC.
This release features both the original Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) and the Japanese Famicom versions of the game, each with a unique storyline. You can also explore a Gallery Mode filled with printed content and artwork.
Simple Yet Deep Game System
This side-scrolling shooter features six stages themed after cities around the world.
Estique is a unique robot that can instantly switch between two forms: a compact ‘Fighter Form’ and a more durable ‘Robot Form’ that ignores terrain damage and helps with recovery. Success in the game depends on skillfully changing between these forms and using different equipment. The game also features a scoring system based on the powerful ‘Super Weapon’ attack, which is activated by quickly pressing the fire button, adding an extra layer of strategy.
The game is designed to be easy to pick up and play, featuring a self-healing system and no power-ups to collect. It offers a thoughtful shooting experience that’s fun for players of all skill levels, whether you’re new to the game or a seasoned pro.
Story
In 2413, the Earth came under attack by the ruthless space pirates known as the Van-De-Raus. They’ve seized control of five major economic hubs and are now dominating the global economy.
The welcoming planet Petelgeuse decided to help Earth fight off space pirates and sent backup. Skilled pilots Mary and Kanon are traveling on the ship ESTIQUE and are now heading to Earth. Mary, you are Earth’s best hope! You’re going to win this!
