Wow, The Traitors just finished, and I’m already seeing it pop up on everyone’s ‘best of the year’ TV lists – and honestly, I totally get why! It’s quickly become one of my favorites, too.
From Alan Carr’s uncontrollable laughter to Celia Imrie’s unexpected moments and Joe Marler’s charming stroll across a shaky bridge, The Celebrity Traitors has quickly become television you don’t want to miss.
The first episode drew a massive 11.7 million viewers (and that number is still climbing!), so it’s no surprise everyone is excited for another season filled with more well-known celebrities.
What makes The Celebrity Traitors so good is the fantastic group of celebrities who participate – they’ve all put aside any personal pride and really embraced the competition. I think the ten celebrities listed below would be just as great at playing the game.
Celebrities who should appear on a potential Celebrity Traitors season 2
- Bob Mortimer
- Daisy May Cooper
- Charlie Cooper
- Nicola Walker
- Alison Hammond
- Olivia Colman
- Rob Beckett
- Chunkz
- Greg Davies
- Diane Parish
If you need furthering reasoning as to why, scroll on.
Bob Mortimer

Bob Mortimer has been entertaining people for nearly forty years, but I only recently discovered his comedy – starting around 2022 with his show, The Satsuma Complex. I’m a little embarrassed it took me so long!
I didn’t really get into Bob Mortimer until I saw him on Last One Laughing: UK. That’s when I decided I needed to watch everything he’d ever done, which led to me starting a binge-watch of Mortimer and Whitehouse: Gone Fishing.
There was a lot of talk that the comedian would be on The Celebrity Traitors, but it didn’t happen this time. Still, producers apparently want him for a future season if the show gets renewed, so I’m optimistic.
Daisy May and Charlie Cooper

This brother and sister team has been delighting audiences since 2017. They were originally scheduled to appear on the show, but had to withdraw because of scheduling conflicts.
Their recent TV reunion on BBC Three’s NightWatch, where they spent the night in some of the UK’s most haunted locations, and the funny interviews that followed, have made it clear they belong back in the Traitors castle.
The idea of Daisy May turning out to be a traitor and Charlie remaining loyal would be incredibly dramatic and captivating.
Nicola Walker

I might be a bit partial—I consider The Split a truly excellent show—but Hannah Stern’s complex relationship with her family is precisely the kind of lively interaction that would make a roundtable discussion in The Traitors really compelling.
Olivia Colman

Anyone who’s seen Olivia Colman do interviews while promoting her movies or shows understands perfectly why she’d be amazing on The Celebrity Traitors.
She’s known for being funny and quick-witted, and will bring a similar playful energy to the show as Alan Carr. Plus, she’s a skilled investigator, as seen in the popular series Broadchurch, so she might even team up with David Tennant to solve the mystery!
Alison Hammond

I was so excited when I heard about Celebrity Traitors – Alison Hammond was the first person I thought of! Everyone loves her, and I knew she’d be amazing on the show.
After successfully and hilariously appearing in a Red Nose Day sketch based on The Traitors, this TV presenter’s current role feels like a perfect next step.
Rob Beckett

Rob Beckett, who previously competed on Last One Laughing, might be a terrible Traitor if he were on the show, potentially making him one of the worst players.
Watching Beckett struggle to keep a straight face in the Prime Video series was hilarious, and it’s exactly the kind of entertaining challenge that makes for great television when someone is hiding something.
Chunkz

I really enjoyed seeing Niko Omilana on Celebrity Traitors, and it got me thinking – the BBC should definitely consider bringing on another content creator for future seasons. Maybe someone who doesn’t rely on pranks as much, though – it’d be interesting to see how they navigate the game without that being used against them!
Chunkz has built a really successful YouTube channel, and he’s particularly well-known for his videos where he tries to identify a hidden person within a group.
Greg Davies

Greg Davies might be the most impactful addition to the group. However, his sharp and sarcastic humor could quickly lead to his removal, as it doesn’t quite fit with the existing dynamic.
Diane Parish

Diane Parish believes Tameka Empson deserves a return to EastEnders! Beyond her role as Denise Fox, Tameka is a naturally hilarious actor who would bring much-needed comedy to the show.
I think she’d really commit to the show, which is great, and use her acting talent to do well and get far.
