Ariana Grande Ditches Signature Ponytail Look With New Brunette Hair

Ariana Grande may be a brunette for good.

After showing off her new hairstyle on Instagram last week, the actress from Wicked: For Good appears to have fully embraced a brunette look, moving on from the blonde hair she’d worn since 2022. It seems this new color is here to stay.

On November 6th, Ariana appeared on the French talk show Le Quotidien with her fellow cast members, Cynthia Erivo and Jonathan Bailey. She surprised viewers by wearing her brown hair down instead of in her usual ponytail.

Ariana Grande’s hair isn’t the only thing about her look that was altered for the movie Wicked.

She and Cynthia bonded by getting several identical tattoos, even placing one on the palms of their hands.

Ariana Grande revealed on Le Quotidien that she and her co-star each received a copy of the song ‘For Good.’ She playfully mentioned they also have two other versions that they aren’t able to share.

Jonathan, eager to join the conversation, playfully indicated he only had a couple of people with him, saying, “It’s just me, Ari, and Cynthia.”

Ariana highlighted that the connections she made with her fellow actors will outlast any temporary changes like hair color or tattoos.

Ariana shared how grateful she was that everyone involved with the project would continue working together. She explained that the characters had touched all their lives, but the best part was creating the films with people they both loved and admired.

She said it’s been a tremendous honor and a unique experience. And, she confirmed that no one is going their separate ways.

And Cynthia agreed, chiming in, “We’re not leaving each other.”
