November is already underway, and streaming services have been busy adding lots of new movies and TV shows. Now that viewers have had a chance to check out what’s been added, another weekend of new releases is here.
The biggest original movie coming to Netflix this year arrives this weekend. Guillermo del Toro’s adaptation of Frankenstein will start streaming on Friday, after a limited release in cinemas over the past few weeks.
This Friday, another movie from 2025 will become available on streaming, but it wasn’t made specifically for the platform. You’ll be able to watch Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale on Peacock starting November 7th. That kicks off three weeks of new movies being added, with Nobody 2 and The Bad Guys 2 coming up next.

Thursday, November 6th
I’ve been enjoying a lot on Netflix lately! I recently watched The Bad Guys: Breaking In, which is a fun family pick. I also revisited the classic Bride Wars. For something a bit different, I checked out Death by Lightning, a really interesting series they have. And I’m definitely hooked on The Vince Staples Show – Season 2 is fantastic!
Here’s what’s available on HBO Max: the movie A Man Called Otto, plus several TV shows including Season 39 of Beat Bobby Flay, Season 3 of Expedition Files, Season 16 of Expedition Unknown, Season 1 of Tournament of Champions: All-Star Christmas, and the HBO Original series Alex vs ARod.
As a huge film and TV fan, I’ve been checking out what Peacock has to offer. Right now, I’m really into their original series, All Her Fault, I’ve already binged the entire first season! And for those of us who love sports documentaries, they’re also featuring Miracle On Ice to celebrate its 40th anniversary – a must-see for any hockey fan!
