I Love You, Man (2009)
The 2000s were a fantastic time for funny movies, and I Love You, Man really captured the spirit of that era. The film centers on a busy professional who unexpectedly becomes close friends with someone who gets him, but this new, intense friendship—a “bromance”—starts to affect his other relationships. Jason Segel and Paul Rudd have incredible comedic chemistry, and the movie is simply delightful.

The Purge: Anarchy (2014)
The Purge: Anarchy is the follow-up to the 2013 film, but you don’t need to have seen the first one to understand and enjoy it. The movie centers around a group of people trying to survive a night where all crime is legal. It’s more intense than the original, combining action with elements of horror and suspense.
Most binge-watching sessions include at least a few moments of being spooked, and The Purge: Anarchy is the perfect choice for those who get easily frightened. It’s scary enough to keep things interesting for horror fans, but not so intense that it will scare away anyone new to the genre. While Netflix offers many horror options, few are as easy to enjoy as this sequel to The Purge.
