However, the couple did take a break from it after they welcomed their baby girl this past summer.
Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi made their first public appearance as parents at the Los Angeles premiere of Stranger Things season five on November 6th. The new season will be available on Netflix November 26th. Jake looked sharp in a red velvet suit, and Millie wowed in a maroon minidress with corset detailing and lace. The couple, who got married in May 2024, posed for photos together and with their co-stars, including Winona Ryder, David Harbour, and Noah Schnapp.
Millie and Jake are back in the public eye just three months after sharing the news that they’ve adopted a daughter.
On August 21st, they announced on Millie’s Instagram that they had welcomed a baby girl into their family through adoption. They shared that they are incredibly excited to begin this new journey as parents and asked for privacy as they enjoy this special time.
Though they haven’t revealed her name yet, Millie and Jake recently gave fans a glimpse of their baby girl. On October 9th, they shared a photo on Instagram of themselves at Disneyland’s “It’s a Small World” ride, where you can see a peek of their daughter wearing an adorable Minnie Mouse onesie.
Millie often talked about how thrilled she was to become a mother in the months leading up to her baby’s arrival.
She shared on the Smartless podcast in March that both her parents were very young when she was born – her mom was 21 and her dad was 19. She explained that from a very young age, she’d always wanted to be a mother, just like her own mom was to her.
She shared that she and her partner both come from large families – each with four children – and they definitely plan to have a big family of their own.
Okay, seriously, she basically said she’s open to adoption! I nearly screamed when I heard it. She was talking about having kids, and then just casually dropped that she doesn’t see a difference between having a biological child and adopting one. It’s like, she gets it! I’m obsessed with this woman, and this just makes me love her even more. It’s just…perfect.
Ultimately, no matter how it comes to be, Millie shared that in her mind, family is everything.
The 21-year-old described their home as a loving and accepting space for everyone and everything. They also shared their desire to start a family, emphasizing that they’re open to however and whenever that might happen, but are confident it will happen eventually.
