Solo Leveling: Karma Announces Release Window

The anime Solo Leveling has quickly become incredibly popular, and it’s easy to see why. Unlike many anime that start in Weekly Shonen Jump, Solo Leveling began as a South Korean webcomic (WEBTOON), helping to popularize this type of storytelling. Now that the second season of the anime has been a hit, fans are eager for updates. Good news: Solo Leveling: Karma has revealed when we can expect Jinwoo’s return, though it might not be a traditional new season.

Despite the name, Solo Leveling: Karma isn’t an anime series – it’s a video game coming to PC and mobile in 2026. The game’s story continues after the events of the original Solo Leveling, showing what happens in Jinwoo Sung’s life after his biggest battles, but before the story of Solo Leveling: Ragnarok begins. Given how incredibly strong Jinwoo is becoming in the anime’s second season, players will likely control a very powerful character. You can watch the game’s first trailer, released earlier this summer, below.

Karma is Coming

Netmarble recently announced that Solo Leveling: Arise will be released on November 25th. The company also plans to create games based on other popular anime series, such as The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin and Shangri-Lat Frontier: The Seven Colossi. As anime’s popularity continues to grow, it’s logical that we’re seeing more video games adapted from these series.

The sequel to Solo Leveling jumps ahead about twenty-seven years, covering a period of time we haven’t seen in the story yet. It’s safe to assume Jinwoo has continued to grow in power, as promotional images show Sung sitting on a throne. The game seems to be introducing new characters during these missing years, and it will be fascinating to see how it connects the original story to what comes next.

We don’t have a release date for Solo Leveling season three yet, but it’s very likely to happen given the show’s popularity. Since its debut in 2024, the series has been a huge success, and there’s still plenty of content from the original manhwa to adapt. While not officially announced, an anime adaptation of the next part of the story seems highly probable, just like the first season, and will likely cover Jinwoo and his son’s adventures.
