Enjoying Alan Carr on Celebrity Traitors? Good news! His popular ITV comedy show is coming back for a third season later this month.
Changing Ends is a partly fictional series based on Alan Carr’s own childhood. It tells the story of growing up as the son of a football manager and figuring out why he felt different from his classmates.
Young Alan Carr is played by child actor Oliver Savell, and the real Alan Carr appears as a narrator, providing background and sharing his thoughts throughout the show.
Critics and audiences have generally enjoyed Changing Ends, making it ITVX’s most popular comedy of 2023. As a result, star Tom Savell received a BAFTA nomination for his remarkably accurate portrayal of Jimmy Carr.
You can watch the newest episode of the sitcom starting Sunday, November 23rd, 2025, on ITVX. It will also air on ITV1 at 10:05 PM that same night, right after ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’.
The series is starting with a lot of positive attention, and ITV is likely hoping that David Carr’s popularity from the last season will draw in even more viewers. Many people loved his clever deception and are now calling him a fan favorite.
Carr admitted on the after-show for Celebrity Traitors that the public’s response to him being on the show has been stronger than with any of his previous TV appearances. Experts are now predicting he’ll land some major roles soon.
Right now, the show is back to what viewers love with another season of Changing Ends. ITV has revealed that season 3 will feature a teenage crush for Carr, involving a new character named Jake.
It asks: “Does love struck Alan suppress this crush or shout about it from the rooftops?”
No matter what challenges come up, Alan is facing a difficult job. He’s dealing with all the tricky situations that come with raising teenagers – things like sleepovers, swimming lessons, and their first experiences going out with friends, both boys and girls.
Things aren’t entirely hopeless for Alan, as some surprising new friends offer him a reason to be optimistic, and they live surprisingly close by.
