Knowing he was in grave danger – accused of a major crime – Vegapunk set up a broadcast to air after his death. While Luffy’s crew fought to protect him and the other satellites, the Five Elders dispatched enemies and even came to the island themselves, showing how determined they are to silence him. The broadcast is still playing, and the intense battle is unfolding with unexpected twists that are sure to be major turning points in the story.
Vegapunk’s Broadcast Unveils Shocking Truths About the Void Century
While Luffy and his crew battle on the island, Vegapunk’s broadcast starts to explain some of the world’s biggest secrets. He begins by predicting the world will soon be underwater, a possibility made more likely by the sea level rising a full meter after the Lulusia Kingdom was destroyed. Vegapunk then reveals the truth behind the attack on Lulusia and what made the weapon used so dangerous.
Despite still being largely unknown, Uranus is incredibly powerful, as demonstrated by its ability to obliterate the Lulusia Kingdom in moments. Scientists believe another world war is coming, and when it does, the legendary Ancient Weapons will likely be used to cause widespread destruction. Vegapunk also shared stories about Joyboy, a mysterious figure first introduced during the Fish-Man Island arc.
After over ten years, the story is now centering on a character from the distant past – the Void Century – who was a key figure in a massive war. Joyboy, originally from the Ancient Kingdom, opposed a coalition of nations because of their conflicting beliefs. Though he was eventually defeated and his story deliberately removed from historical records, he’s considered the very first pirate, but is largely unknown today.
December Will Be Packed With Several Exciting One Piece Moments
According to the popular One Piece news account @pewpiece, the first episode of December will include the highly anticipated scene of Bonney awakening her Gear 5 transformation. This moment, taken from chapter 1118 of the manga and widely discussed by fans, shows Bonney envisioning a future where she’s truly free, inspired by Luffy and his Sun God Nika powers. After years of hardship, she finally gets to live out her dream with Luffy’s encouragement. Following this emotional scene, the story will explore the link between Emet, the Iron Giant, and the legendary figure Joyboy.
The battle with the Five Elders is incredibly difficult, and only Emet, empowered by an ancient force, can hope to defeat them. As the fight nears its conclusion, Imu, the world’s enigmatic ruler, finally reveals a terrifying glimpse of their power. What happened at Egghead is just the beginning; the consequences of the recent broadcast will be much larger than anyone expects.
