Be warned! This article contains spoilers from the first part of the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Season 9 reunion episode. If you haven’t watched it yet, you might want to do so – it’s available on HBO Max – before continuing to read!
The cast of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Season 9 is finally having its tell-all reunion, and TLC put them all together in one house to create more drama. Though the house setting was interesting, the biggest moment came when the tell-all actually began. As the season nears its end, TLC surprisingly announced that Tigerlily and Adnan Abdelfattah wouldn’t be participating. TLC hasn’t explained why, but there’s speculation about the reason for their exclusion.
How 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Addressed Adnan And Tigerlily‘s Absence From The Tell-All
Shaun Robinson began the show by stating that Tigerlily and Adnan wouldn’t be featured, and their relationship issues wouldn’t be discussed. Some fans had guessed they were removed from the episode, and while they weren’t seen in the studio, it’s possible they filmed remotely but their scenes were ultimately removed.
Adnan Recently Made Anti-Semitic Statements On Social Media
It’s typical for TLC not to address why Tigerlily and Adnan weren’t part of the recent tell-all special, as the show often doesn’t comment when couples break up. The only time they really spoke out was when Alina Kozhevnikova was removed from the show because of racist posts on her social media, explaining they hadn’t thoroughly checked potential cast members’ backgrounds.
Coincidentally enough, this may factor into why Adnan and Tigerlily aren’t on the tell-all, after the former was hit with a ton of backlash from the fandom on his Instagram account. On a since-expired Instagram Story, which was archived on Reddit, Adnan had made anti-semitic statements related to Israel. Specifically, he replied to someone who tried to justify Hitler’s actions related to the Holocaust, and said the following:
He left the leftover to showing [sic] us why he did it to them [laughing emoji].
The post is about a month old, so it’s hard to know if it contributed to their removal, or if there was another reason they weren’t included. Considering cast members like Alexei Brovarnik are from Israel and appear on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, it’s possible the show has a strict policy against comments like that.

This season of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? feels like Loren and Alexei aren’t really needed. Here’s why I think their storyline feels out of place.
As a big fan of the show, it’s frustrating to not have TLC confirm anything, so we’re all just guessing. I’ve seen couples removed from the show before for similar issues, so it’s definitely a possibility here. Honestly, without knowing when the tell-all was actually filmed, it’s possible they were let go for something completely unrelated to Adnan’s comment, and this whole thing is just a coincidence.
It’s unlikely we’ll ever see this couple on 90 Day Fiancé again. People who don’t participate in the tell-all episode almost never appear in future seasons, unless something unusual is keeping them away. Maybe we’ll learn more about why they weren’t there as the tell-all continues and the cast shares more information.
New episodes of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? air Sundays at 8 p.m. Eastern on TLC. I’m excited to find out what happens with the couples, especially since they haven’t seen everything that’s been filmed!
