After years of anticipation, the final season of the popular Netflix series is almost here, and viewers are eager to see how the story ends. The cast promises a satisfying conclusion, assuring fans it will avoid the controversial ending of Game of Thrones.
Shawn Levy, director and executive producer of Stranger Things, recently discussed the importance of providing a satisfying conclusion to the series. He explained that the creators are dedicated to answering key questions for fans, rather than leaving them hanging. Levy noted that shows which don’t offer closure can be deeply frustrating, while a truly great ending is something audiences will always remember.
Many upcoming answers in the series will focus on Will Byers, portrayed by Noah Schnapp. Schnapp hinted to ScreenRant that the show will finally reveal why Will was originally taken, and what his significance is. Millie Bobby Brown, who plays Eleven, also assured fans that long-standing questions will be addressed.
The creators of Stranger Things, Matt and Ross Duffer, have hinted that the upcoming season will reveal more about the mysterious alternate dimension called the ‘Upside Down.’ Viewers will also find out what happens to their favorite characters, but writer Paul Dichter warns that no one is guaranteed to survive. He explained that the writers considered all possibilities for each character – anyone could live, die, or form new relationships.
