The Dam Battlegrounds in ARC Raiders is a bit more forgiving than other areas, but the quests can still be tricky because they don’t always clearly show you where to go. Luckily, some quests, like ‘Broken Monument,’ do help guide you by progressing automatically when you get nearby.
Okay, so if you want to start the Broken Monument quest from Tien Wen, the first thing you gotta do is head over to the southeastern part of Dam Battlegrounds – you’re looking for the Scrapyard. Once you’re there, drop down south, and you’ll see a bunch of wrecked cars and old camps. That’s where you’ll find all the stuff you need to upgrade your workshop, plus the first item for the quest!
Where To Find The Compass In ARC Raiders
Okay, so you’ll find this hidden box right under the Scrapyard logo in the picture. It’s kinda tucked away between a bunch of wrecked cars that are really close together. You’ll have to jump over some of the destroyed vehicles to get to a little pocket in the middle, and that’s where you’ll find the first Compass for the quest!
To finish the ‘Broken Monument’ quest, you need to collect all three quest items, just interacting with the boxes isn’t enough. It’s best to grab these items right away, as one of mine disappeared when I tried to return for it after collecting other loot.
Where To Find The Video Tape In ARC Raiders
You’ll find the next item in a box right below the Scrapyard logo. This box is next to two large cylinders on the ground, a little ways past one of the big, round tanks.
Because this area has so many valuable items to collect, using a basic loadout with limited inventory space is more of a hindrance than a help when completing this quest.
Where To Find The Old Field Rations In ARC Raiders
To finish the Broken Monument quest, you need to find an old field ration. It’s located inside a trailer at an old raider camp – look to the left when you enter.
Although this last quest area is safe from the dangerous ARC enemies, you’ll probably want to leave immediately after collecting the items and returning them to Tien Wen. At the very least, be careful and play it safe until you’re ready to exit the map in ARC Raiders .
