April Windsor (played by Amelia Flanagan) is set to face tough questioning from the police in Emmerdale next week, as the storyline takes a dramatic turn.
She’s facing drug dealing charges, and just as she was about to tell the police everything, she gets another threatening message from the unpleasant Celia Daniels (Jaye Griffiths).
Kev Townsend (Chris Coghill) asks his husband, Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley), to stay with him during his final days, and then secretly obtains a weapon.
Lewis Barton is dealing with anxiety, and Charity Dingle is manipulating Liam Cavanagh. She’s pressuring him to become friends with her husband, Mackenzie Boyd, and get rid of Ross Barton.
I’m really getting invested in this story – it turns out Bear Wolf, played by Joshua Richards, is concerned about one of Ray Walters’ – Joe Absolom, you might recognize him – enslaved people. It’s adding another layer of tension, seeing someone actually care for their wellbeing within this awful situation.
Here’s everything that’s happening in the village between Monday, 17th and Friday, 21st November.
5 Emmerdale spoilers next week
1. Celia Daniels rages with April Windsor as she’s arrested

April, after being arrested for drug dealing, reluctantly calls her grandfather, Bob, for help. Bob is shocked to hear from her, but believes her when she insists they’ve been wrongly accused.
In the interview, she stumbled and avoided answering the questions directly. Meanwhile, back in the village, Celia was outraged to learn about the arrest.
DS Clarke questioned whether the teenager was being taken advantage of. For a split second, she considered confessing everything, but quickly realized she had too much to lose.
When April got back to the village, she told Bob to not mention anything about it. She warned that if Marlon found out, she would stop talking to Bob completely.

Ray and Celia are waiting for her, believing her fate rests on what the police discover.
The next day, Bob told Celia he felt obligated to tell Marlon the truth. Celia, however, tried to convince him to downplay the situation, suggesting the arrest wasn’t a big deal.
When Bob disappears, Celia warns April that she’s used up her last chance.
2. Lewis Barton struggles with his anxiety

Kammy is throwing a large housewarming party, and Lewis is feeling anxious about it. He attempts to relax by taking charge of the drinks, and when the guests go to a pub, he volunteers to stay behind and clean up.
The next day, he felt incredibly stressed at the cafe, so much so that he left his customers and rushed home, fearing a panic attack. Nicola tries to reach out to him, but it’s unclear if he’ll be able to talk about what’s happening.
3. Kev Townsend gets his hands on a gun

Ugh, Kev was clearly not a morning person – he and Mack immediately started bickering over a coffee spill. Luckily, Robert stepped in and managed to get Kev out of there, and the two of them ended up having a really good talk. It was a classic moment – you could just feel the tension easing as they connected.
He understands the only way to maintain a relationship with Robert is to pretend he’s seriously ill, and surprisingly, Robert agrees to care for him during his supposed final days. Rob later confides in Aaron about their arrangement.
Kammy invited three men to her party, and things took a turn when Kev, after having too much to drink, began singing karaoke. Aaron and Robert were surprised by his behavior. Meanwhile, feeling hurt by his husband, Robert left, but came back later to get his coat. During this return visit, he unexpectedly became friends with Lewis.

The following day, Robert visited Kev and assured him he’d be there for him when he needed support. But later that night, Kev was holding a handgun.
What is he planning?
4. Bear Wolf worries about Anya’s health

Bear becomes increasingly concerned as Anya’s health declines. Ray tells him to return to his duties, assuring him he’ll locate some antibiotics, and then goes to Mulberry Cottage to try and persuade Laurel.
Returning to the farm, he felt immense guilt as Anya’s health quickly worsened, a feeling that intensified when he learned she had a daughter.
Even though he previously told her not to, he lets Bear stay with her as she fades in and out of awareness.
5. Charity Dingle blackmails Liam Cavanagh

Charity is shocked that Ross is trying to become friends with Mack, even though he’s currently visiting Pete in Liverpool.
Liam finds the close bond between two people endearing, and it’s made her consider things differently. She actively encourages Liam to become friends with Mackenzie, believing Mackenzie could be a good companion for him.
The following day, a disagreement during a game led to Liam believing their friendship wouldn’t last.
She was incredibly angry and discovered damaging information about the doctor, which she used to pressure him into reconsidering his decision.
