Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter quickly became a fan favorite after its release earlier this year. It’s a completely rebuilt version of the first Trails game, and many consider it the most refined entry in the series so far.
We now have pretty solid confirmation that a remake of Trails in the Sky Second Chapter will be released by September 2026.
The sequel, likely titled Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter, was expected since it was teased at the end of the first game. The main question was simply when Falcom would release it.
The company’s latest financial report highlights that 2nd Chapter will be released in the next fiscal year. We expect it to be a global launch, similar to the release of 1st Chapter.
Trails in the Sky Second Chapter is often ranked as a highlight of the entire series. It features a deeply emotional story, compelling characters, and some truly unforgettable boss battles.
