The Jonas Brothers are suckers for a great work ethic.
After a video of a fan looking at Scott Kelly’s experience quickly spread online, the Jonas Brothers – Nick, Kevin, and Joe – were convinced he was the right person for the role.
A concertgoer at the Jonas Brothers’ Buffalo show shared a funny moment on TikTok. The video, posted on November 10th, shows someone scrolling through a resume on their phone while at the concert. The poster, Jen, wrote that the resume belonged to Scott Kelly and wished him good luck.
The Jonas Brothers saw a video that quickly went viral—earning over five million views—and were impressed by the applicant’s strong work ethic. Nick Jonas even revealed that Scott Kelly’s dedication and insightful thinking were the inspiration behind the iconic line, “red dress,” in their hit song, “Burnin’ Up.”
Joe and Kevin both highly recommended Scott Kelly for the position. Joe stated that Scott had helped him out on numerous occasions and had even hired him in the past. Kevin simply confirmed he was a reference for Scott, expressing his confidence in Scott’s abilities.
The Jonas Brothers weren’t the only ones helping Scott find a job. Many brands also commented on the video, eager to let potential employers know he’d be a great hire.

Old Navy praised Scott Kelly’s professional appearance, giving him a strong recommendation. Kia commented on his motivation, saying he’s a driven person and should be hired right away.
It’s not entirely known what kind of work Scott was looking for, but Vrbo vouched for his skills, stating, “Scott Kelly built my house. I recommend him.”
The viral video has received a lot of attention, with many people named Scott Kelly jokingly claiming to be the applicant featured in it. It’s still unclear whether the actual Scott Kelly applied for or got the job.

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve seen trends come and go, but some things are just timeless! The Backstreet Boys burst onto the scene in 1996, and then really defined the sound of the late 90s with their album Millennium. What’s amazing is that Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, AJ McLean, Brian Littrell, and Kevin Richardson are still out there touring and performing all those incredible songs we grew up with – over twenty years later! It’s a testament to great music and a fantastic connection with their fans.

Let’s celebrate Destiny’s Child, the group that launched Beyoncé’s incredible career! And let’s not forget Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams – they’re both still hugely influential artists today.

The popular boy band ‘NSYNC was made up of Justin Timberlake, Joey Fatone, Lance Bass, JC Chasez, and Chris Kirkpatrick. Fans are still hoping they’ll perform together again, and they’re definitely not ready to say goodbye!

If you wanted to date one of the Spice Girls, you first had to impress their friends – and they had a big circle! This British girl group, made up of Mel C, Victoria Beckham, Mel B, Geri Halliwell, and Emma Bunton, took the U.K. by storm in the ’90s with their iconic style and memorable songs. They were the ultimate dream group for many fans.

The Hanson brothers—Isaac, Taylor, and Zac—became popular in the 1990s with their hit song, “MMMBop.” They released another album together in 2013, but then each brother pursued individual projects—and Taylor focused on raising his large family! Fortunately, the group reunited in 2018 with the album String Theory and have been touring ever since.

TLC, the popular ’90s rap group, still performs today with original members Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins and Rozanda “Chilli” Thomas, following the tragic death of Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes in 2002. Lil Mama joined them on stage in 2013, and in 2017, TLC announced they were working on new music.

Since 2017, the internationally famous K-pop group BTS has been heavily involved in writing, producing, and performing their own music. Their dedicated fanbase, known as the Army, is considered one of the most enthusiastic in the history of music.

As a pop culture enthusiast, I remember BWitched absolutely dominating the late 90s! Keavy Lynch, Edele Lynch, Sinéad O’Carroll, and Lindsay Armaou – those names were everywhere with hits like “C’est La Vie” and “Blame it on the Weatherman.” You probably heard their songs in shows like Smart House and Dawson’s Creek back then. They took a break after releasing two albums in 2002, but the amazing thing is they came back together for The Big Reunion in 2013! And they haven’t stopped since – they’re still touring and even released a new EP, Ripped Jeans*, just this year in 2024. It’s so great to see them back and making music again!

Nick Lachey was a member of the popular boy band 98 Degrees, and reminiscing about their rise to fame is bringing back a lot of memories! He formed the group with his brother Drew Lachey, Justin Jeffre, and Jeff Timmons. They all left college in the 1990s to pursue their music dreams and create the band.

New Kids On the Block became incredibly popular in the late 1980s, and in 2011, the group rejoined for a nostalgic tour alongside The Backstreet Boys.
New Kids on the Block originally consisted of brothers Jordan and Jonathan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg, and Danny Wood. The group split up in 1994, but got back together after a few years. In 2011, they toured with the Backstreet Boys, which caused a huge buzz online. They continue to perform as of today.

It’s great to have the Jonas Brothers back! Nick, Joe, and Kevin each brought something special – Nick’s charming smile, Joe’s cool confidence, and Kevin’s reliable older brother vibe. And let’s not forget, they’re all talented musicians! We’ve been fans ever since they first started making music back in 2006.

One Direction was one of the most successful bands to emerge from a singing competition, dominating the music scene throughout the 2010s. Each member – Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Harry Styles, and the late Liam Payne – has gone on to have a thriving career in music, as well as making their mark in fashion and film.

Even before the pandemic made “Work From Home” a common phrase, the group Fifth Harmony released a fun and energetic song that playfully addressed the challenges of working from home. After Fifth Harmony went on break in 2018, Camila Cabello launched a thriving solo career, even starring as Cinderella! Other members of the group have also pursued their own music projects.

5 Seconds of Summer began their journey by posting videos on YouTube. They gained popularity with hits like “She Looks So Perfect” and “Girls Talk Boys” when they started playing on the radio. A big break came when they toured as an opening act for One Direction, and after that, their success really took off.

For more than 30 years, Boyz II Men – featuring Nathan Morris, Shawn Stockman, and Wanya Morris – have been a popular music group, known for hit songs like “I’ll Make Love to You” and “One Sweet Day.” They continue to perform as a trio.

Often described as the British equivalent of One Direction, The Wanted achieved mainstream success in the U.S. with their 2012 hit song, “Glad You Came.” They also starred in their own reality show, The Wanted Life. The group took a break in 2014 but reunited in 2021. Tragically, founding member Tom Parker passed away from brain cancer in 2022.

Oh my gosh, CNCO! They started back in 2016 with Joel Pimentel, Richard Camacho, Erick Brian Colón, Christopher Vélez, and Zabdiel De Jesús – they were perfect together. But it’s just… heartbreaking. Joel announced he was leaving, and their last show as the five of them was May 14th. I’m still not over it, honestly. It felt like the end of an era!

Big Time Rush, the band that started on Nickelodeon, enjoyed five successful years together before taking a break in 2014. Luckily, all four members – Kendall Schmidt, Logan Henderson, Carlos PenaVega, and James Maslow – got back together in December 2021 to release new music.
