Marvel’s Next Disney+ Release Is Just 1 Day Away

A new Disney+ series featuring popular Marvel characters is coming soon! The two-part sequel, LEGO Marvel Avengers: Strange Tails, will premiere on November 14, 2025. It continues the stories from Code Red and Mission Demolition.

The Strange Tails synopsis confirms that the Avengers will face off with their “wildest threat yet” as they go head-to-head with a cat-crazy influencer and must recruit a new team to stop her plans for “cataclysmic destruction:”

We’ve seen Hawkeye and The Avengers save the world countless times, making it seem effortless. But now, they’re up against a completely new kind of danger: social media! To overcome this threat, they need to assemble a new team to help them stop a powerful influencer who’s determined to cause total destruction.

The new LEGO Marvel Avengers series is now streaming on Disney+, and it’s one of the final superhero shows Disney+ will release in 2025.

Marvel fans have a bit of a wait for new content on Disney+. The next MCU shows are scheduled to arrive starting in 2026 with Wonder Man on January 27th, followed by the return of Daredevil: Born Again for its second season on March 4th, and VisionQuest in the fall. Next year will also bring fresh animated series like Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man and X-Men ’97, plus more episodes of Spidey and His Amazing Friends and Iron Man and His Awesome Friends for younger audiences.

Even though it’s set in a LEGO version of the Marvel world, Strange Tails will include at least 16 well-known heroes and villains.

Every Hero & Villain Confirmed for LEGO Marvel Avengers: Strange Tails

Hawkeye

Clint Barton, better known as the superhero Hawkeye, is a central figure in the Disney+ special LEGO Marvel Avengers: Strange Tails. It appears he’s the one who initially clashes with the story’s villain, Sphinx.

Meryet

Marvel is reimagining the Egyptian villain Sphinx for a modern audience. This version, named Meryet Karim, is a social media influencer obsessed with cats who wants to create her most popular livestream yet – by unleashing an army of felines against the Avengers! Actress Alia Shawkat, best known for her role as Maeby in Arrested Development, will provide the voice for Meryet Karim.

Iron Man

Tony Stark, the brilliant and wealthy inventor known as Iron Man, is essential to the Avengers. He’ll be back for the new special, and will even bring out his massive Hulkbuster armor for a huge fight!

Steve Rogers

The Avengers wouldn’t be the same without their iconic leader, Steve Rogers. And he won’t be the only Captain America fighting the Sphinx – another hero will also take on the role in battle.

Black Panther

The same year T’Challa reappeared in Marvel Zombies, the Black Panther will join the main team of Avengers in Strange Tails. It’s a role he sadly never fully got to experience in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Sam Wilson

Besides T’Challa, Sam Wilson is the other significant new addition to the first group of Avengers in this LEGO miniseries. A cool part is that both Rogers and Wilson will be Captain America in Strange Tails, each using the iconic shield.

Thor

Thor will be fully prepared for action in LEGO Marvel Avengers: Strange Tails, wielding his hammer, Mjolnir, against the Sphinx.

Black Widow

Even though Black Widow (Natasha Romanoff) died in the 2019 movie Endgame, she’s still getting a LEGO set, despite not appearing in the new Avengers: Doomsday film.

Hulk

The final member of the famous Avengers team in Stranger Tails is the Hulk. In the trailer, he’s shown holding a cat with glowing red eyes and looking puzzled, asking, “Umm… Mr. Whiskers?”

Magneto

In a first for Disney+, Magneto and the X-Men take on the Avengers in an epic showdown, setting the stage for the upcoming movie, Avengers: Doomsday.

Tigra

To defeat the Sphinx and her army of cat-like creatures, Earth’s greatest heroes are forming a team of their own feline fighters, known as the Catvengers. One of the Catvengers is Tigra, who possesses a range of superpowers inspired by cats.

Black Cat

Black Cat, known as a romantic interest and sometimes-villain for Spider-Man, is joining the cast of the Disney+ series. Her appearance has fans wondering if it connects to storylines from the Spider-Man: Brand New Day comics. While Spider-Man likely won’t be in the show, Strange Tails, Black Cat might mention him.

White Tiger

Before the White Tiger appears in Season 2 of Marvel’s Daredevil: Born Again, the character will appear in Stranger Tails wearing the enchanted amulet. It will likely be either Ava Ayala or Angela Del Toro taking on the role.

Pyro

In the upcoming film Strange Tails, Magneto will lead a team of four mutants – including the fire-powered Pyro – in a battle against the Avengers, likely taking place in a museum early in the story.

Juggernaut

In LEGO Marvel Avengers: Strange Tails, Juggernaut and the Hulk are facing off in a museum battle that’s sure to cause a lot of damage.

Sabretooth

A well-known villain from the Wolverine stories, Sabretooth – who appeared in the X-Men movies as Logan’s brother – will also be part of the upcoming fight.
