The Blaze Grenade in ARC Raiders is a game-changer – you won’t realize how useful it is until you’re consistently facing tough enemies like Bombardiers or Bastions. It’s powerful, inexpensive to craft, and quickly deals with many threats. The only challenge is actually finding the blueprint to make it.
The blueprint for the Blaze Grenade doesn’t always appear in the same spot, but it’s more likely to be found in certain locations and types of containers. Here’s where to search and the routes that tend to be most successful.
Blaze Grenade Blueprint
Discovering this blueprint allows you to create Tier 3 Explosive Stations, letting you craft powerful grenades using just Explosive Compound and Oil. After learning the blueprint, the recipe will always be available at the explosives crafting bench. These grenades are very effective for their low cost, making this blueprint a high priority for many players to unlock early in the game.

Once you’ve unlocked the Blaze Grenade, you can create the Blaze Grenade Trap. However, you’ll need the Travelling Tinkerer skill to do so. Crafting it requires 1 Blaze Grenade, 1 Wire, and a workbench at least level 1. Remember, you must unlock the Travelling Tinkerer skill first by investing points in the Survival skill tree.

Where the Blueprint Usually Drops
While there’s no specific place you’re sure to find it, players often discover it in a few common areas or inside certain kinds of containers.
Buried City
- Cabinet drawers inside residential buildings
- Office-style storage areas
Blue Gate
- Under the hoods of cars in roadside garages
- Raider hideouts tucked under the elevated highway
Dam Battlegrounds
- Special grenade bags
- Hidden gap under the East Broken Bridge (often has special containers)
Spaceport
- Raider caches during the Uncovered Caches event
- Any keyed or locked interior you have access to
When searching for useful items, focus on containers like grenade pouches, car hoods, lockers, and cabinet drawers. They’re much more likely to contain grenade blueprints compared to regular containers.
How to Run Your Route Efficiently
Instead of checking every room you walk past, focus on the spots that actually matter.
If you have keys, use them first. Rooms that require keys tend to have a higher chance of dropping valuable blueprints.
2. Keep Your Route Tight
Plan a loop that hits these:
- Special containers
- Keyed interiors
- Grenade bags
- Car hoods
- Lockers and drawers
Skipping low-value areas saves a ton of time and pushes more attempts per run.
Running during the night offers better loot and gives you more time to search without being rushed by enemies.
Why It’s Worth the Trouble
Unlocking the blueprint for Blaze Grenades gives you a powerful advantage. These grenades are incredibly effective against tough enemies like Bastions and Bombardiers, can stop enemies from being revived during player-versus-player combat, and quickly create breathing room when you’re surrounded. Plus, they’re very inexpensive to make once you learn the recipe, making them ideal for building up a large supply.
It might take a few tries to get the blueprint, but once you learn where to search and what to skip, finding it becomes much easier. This blueprint lets you build Blaze Grenade Traps, which are great for defending narrow passages. Stay consistent with your search path, focus on the correct containers, and eventually you’ll get lucky. Then, just keep making more traps and let them handle the enemies for you.
