Hi-Fi Rush Now Officially in the Hands of ‘AI-First’ Publisher Krafton

Good news for Hi-Fi Rush players! Krafton, who recently took over Tango Gameworks, will now be handling the publishing of the game, taking over from Bethesda.

The studio was about to close down, but Krafton bought it just in time, including the rights to the game Hi-Fi Rush. It’s now officially part of the South Korean company Krafton.

The news is generally positive. In a recent blog post, Krafton promised to make the transition as easy as possible for players and to keep delivering a fun experience with Hi-Fi Rush.

What might sour the news for some is the company’s recent pledge to becoming an AI-first business.

Because generative AI and similar technologies have recently sparked debate, a publisher heavily relying on them might worry some fans.

It’s still unclear what becoming an “AI-first” company will look like in practice, but thankfully, the popular game Hi-Fi Rush now has a new owner and will remain available to players.
