November 2025’s PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium games offer a lot of content, with a total of 10 titles. Nine of these are available on the Extra tier, and one older game is on the Premium tier. The selection includes a variety of genres, and notably features two games each from Rockstar Games and Milestone S.r.l. While Red Dead Redemption officially releases on December 2nd, it’s being included as part of the November games, ahead of the next lineup dropping on December 16th.
Here’s a look at the 10 new PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium games coming in November 2025, and how they compare. With the exception of Red Dead, all games will be available starting November 19th.
10) Monster Jam Showdown

As a huge Monster Jam fan, I was excited to try Monster Jam Showdown, and it’s a really fun, over-the-top game from the folks at Milestone, who clearly know their way around racing games. It’s not super complex – you’ll be doing a lot of the same things, like smashing cars and doing tricks – but it really lets you experience everything these massive trucks can do. Plus, they’ve included a ton of my favorite trucks! It’s not the deepest racing game out there, but honestly, I appreciate how straightforward and enjoyable it is.
9) MotoGP 25

Okay, so I’ve been playing MotoGP 25, and it’s pretty much what you’d expect from Milestone – another solid racing game. The racing itself is super tight and competitive, like always, but it doesn’t really change things up a ton from previous years. Still, it’s one of the better MotoGP games they’ve made. I like the career mode – being able to upgrade both me and my bike keeps things interesting. My biggest gripe? It’s kinda quiet. No voice acting really sucks the personality out of it, making it hard to get totally hooked. It’s a no-frills racing experience, and honestly, that’s not always a bad thing.
8) Tomb Raider: Anniversary

Tomb Raider: Anniversary is a remake of the original Tomb Raider, fitting into the series’ earlier, more adventure-focused style. This makes it interesting, as it’s a modern update of a classic game. While some aspects, like the puzzles and graphics, still feel good today – especially considering adventure games aren’t as common now – the game loses some momentum towards the end. The final sections become overly focused on the supernatural, which detracts from the enjoyable experience of the earlier parts.
7) Still Wakes the Deep

Still Wakes the Deep is a horror game reminiscent of The Thing, but set on a remote oil rig in the North Sea. It offers a distinctive atmosphere where you must avoid terrifying creatures while uncovering the fate of the crew and finding a way to survive. While the monster encounters themselves are somewhat simple and can be frustrating, the game truly shines through its compelling characters and the human drama at the core of the disaster.
6) Insurgency: Sandstorm

With major releases like Battlefield 6 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 recently launching, Insurgency: Sandstorm is entering a competitive market. However, it still excels at what it does best. This first-person shooter is designed for players who prefer a more strategic and careful approach, rather than simply running and shooting. It prioritizes immersive gameplay and tactical thinking. While not the most visually stunning game, Sandstorm focuses on realism, featuring powerful weapons and impactful sound design to fully immerse players. Remarkably, despite being released seven years ago, the game continues to receive support and even offers crossplay.
5) Grand Theft Auto V

Man, I can see why Grand Theft Auto V is so huge. It’s just a massive game set in this city, Los Santos, that feels totally real – like a super detailed version of Los Angeles. What’s amazing is the freedom; you can just drive around and enjoy the scenery, hang out at the beach watching people, or, you know, cause some chaos with the cops. There are missions you stumble upon from crazy people, you can play golf, race cars… honestly, there’s always something to do. It’s the kind of game where you can really lose yourself in the world.
While the story has moments of genuine quality and occasional humor, it doesn’t quite come together in the end, leaving a slightly disappointing impression. Nevertheless, Grand Theft Auto V remains a compelling game thanks to its extensive online mode with incredible freedom, and a huge amount of single-player content, even if not every aspect is perfectly polished.
4) Thank Goodness You’re Here

Few games capture British humor quite like Thank Goodness You’re Here. While it’s packed with distinctly British jokes and cultural references, it’s still enjoyable for anyone, regardless of where they live. The fast-paced, silly gameplay – involving running around and playfully ‘slapping’ people – makes it a truly unique experience. Not every joke hits the mark, but when they do, they’re what make Thank Goodness You’re Here so memorable and fun.
3) The Talos Principle 2

At first glance, The Talos Principle 2 is a challenging puzzle game. It involves manipulating light to solve puzzles – a mechanic found in many games – but these puzzles are cleverly designed. They constantly evolve and are satisfying to figure out. While the puzzles are strong on their own, what truly sets The Talos Principle 2 apart is its story. The game encourages players to contemplate deeper philosophical questions about life, exploring complex themes rarely seen in puzzle games. Both the gameplay and the narrative challenge players to think critically, and that combination is what makes it truly special.
2) Pacific Drive

While there are plenty of roguelite and survival games available, Pacific Drive offers a unique experience. Instead of focusing on combat, the game centers around driving a rundown car through a strange, abandoned version of the Pacific Northwest. Players scavenge for materials to repair and upgrade their vehicle, making it more reliable with each run. What sets Pacific Drive apart from other games in the genre is its deep focus on the car itself and the many details surrounding it. The game keeps things interesting with changing conditions on each run, and a surprisingly engaging story told through the car radio adds extra depth compared to many similar survival games. It may not sound like much, but like the car you drive, Pacific Drive is more than meets the eye.
1) Red Dead Redemption

While Red Dead Redemption 2 is often praised as a landmark game, the original Red Dead Redemption from 2010 remains incredibly impressive. This sweeping Western tells a complex story, deeply exploring the end of the Wild West through a compelling and well-developed main character. The game culminates in a powerful and unforgettable ending that still resonates with players nearly twenty years later.
Even today, the world of Red Dead Redemption remains impressive compared to many open-world games that came after it. While it features the usual quirky characters and chaotic moments (though with a Western twist – horses and revolvers instead of modern weapons), it distinguishes itself through its strong atmosphere and a map that isn’t cluttered with unnecessary markers. The world feels appropriately desolate without feeling truly empty, thanks to spontaneous events that keep things interesting. With a vibrant open world and a compelling story, Red Dead Redemption remains a fantastic experience, even when measured against its highly-praised sequel.
