The Valley: Persian Style Trailer Details MJ Javid’s Marriage Woes

The Shahs of Sunset have officially switched zip codes.

Mercedes “MJ” Javid, Reza Farahan, and Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi are back on Bravo with a new reality show called The Valley: Persian Style. The trailer just dropped, and fans are excited for their return.

Reza, 52, says everyone has matured a lot since the show Shahs of Sunset ended. MJ agrees, adding that a lot has changed for them all in the last five years, especially with the arrival of their children.

Let’s talk about what’s been going on with MJ. It’s been a tough time for her personally, as her seven-year marriage to Tommy Feight is unfortunately ending in divorce. They share a sweet six-year-old son, Shams, and while it’s always sad to see a couple separate, MJ cited irreconcilable differences when she filed in October. It’s a big life change, and I’m sending her all the best as she navigates this new chapter.

When the 53-year-old woman says she’s unhappy, her mother, Vida, responds with the saying, “You can’t teach an old dog new tricks.”

During a strained lunch, Vida cautioned her son-in-law about problems in his marriage, telling him, “She’s unhappy.” Tommy angrily responded, “Then she should get a divorce.”

Later, MJ becomes upset while discussing the relationship issues, and Reza asks his close friend if Tommy would be willing to remain friends.

I’m really worried about everyone. It seems like so many couples are hitting rough patches. Beyond MJ and Tommy, I’m especially concerned about Reza and Adam Neely. They’ve been together for over ten years, and it just feels like maybe the excitement has faded for them too.

As Reza admits in the teaser, “I need Adam to be more affectionate.”

The new trailer also reveals several new people joining the existing group of friends from Shahs: Tanin Nikpey, Greg Haroutunian, Sky Asakari, Bamshad Akbar, Natasha and Amir Boroumand, and Reza Jackson.

Although, GG isn’t too keen about Sky joining her social circle.

The video shows a heated confrontation between the two, culminating in GG shouting, “I didn’t start yelling until you yelled at me!”

During a heated dinner argument, Sky angrily threatened to cut ties with the group, saying she’d discard them as easily as a used tissue.
