The final episodes of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War are coming next year, concluding the epic fight between the Soul Society and Yhwach’s forces. Although the exact release date for the fourth part hasn’t been announced, it’s expected to be a major anime event in 2026. Before saying goodbye to Ichigo and the Soul Reapers, Studio Pierrot is offering a special preview to both refresh fans’ memories and hint at what might come next.
The popular anime Bleach now has an official YouTube channel! Despite being brand new, the channel already features thirty videos, including recaps of past events and music from the series. The Blood War’s Finale
Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War was the concluding arc of the original Bleach manga, leading many to think it would be the last we’d see of Ichigo Kurosaki and the world of Soul Society. For a long time, fans didn’t expect the fight against the Wandenreich to ever be animated, as the anime had previously ended. Thankfully, when Yhwach’s army finally appeared on screen, it not only thrilled viewers but also re-energized the series’ creator, Tite Kubo.
After the conclusion of the Thousand-Year Blood War arc, a special one-shot manga chapter titled Bleach: No Breaths From Hell was released. This chapter jumps forward in time, showing Ichigo as a father and the characters of Soul Society several years older. However, the reunion wasn’t entirely joyful, as some previously defeated villains reappeared. Powerful deceased captains of the Soul Society had been sent to Hell and were understandably upset about their fate. Given that this story is just a single chapter, an anime adaptation seems unlikely, though anything is possible.
When the Bleach anime originally aired, new episodes came out every week. However, Studio Pierrot now releases anime in seasons, a change likely influenced by the success of Demon Slayer. This approach affects other shows they’re working on, like Boruto: Naruto Next Generations and Black Clover, which haven’t had new seasons recently. After the Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War arc finishes, it will be interesting to see whether Black Clover’s Asta or Boruto’s Naruto gets a new anime season first.
