The Stella Montis Archives Key appears randomly while playing ARC Raiders, but the game doesn’t give you any directions on how or where to use it.
Actually, the item’s description only says it unlocks a door somewhere within the Stella Montis Archives. That’s a huge place, so the description isn’t very helpful in pinpointing its location!
Fret not, though, for we’ll tell you exactly where to go to use this key.
Where to Use Stella Montis Archives Key | ARC Raiders

As the key suggests, you need to visit the Cultural Archives located on the upper level of Stella Montis. Head to the furthest western section of that area to find what you’re looking for.
Be careful if you head that way! You’ll encounter plenty of automated robots, and there’s also a risk of running into enemy Raiders. It’s especially important to be prepared to fight Shredders.

Simply head to the northwest part of the Cultural Archives. You’ll see a large steel door with a keypad there, like in the picture.

Simply go to the keypad and use the key to unlock the room! It’s easy, but keep in mind that keys are used up once you use them. If you want to come back later, you’ll need to find another key.
Finding the key mostly comes down to luck, like with many items in the game. Keys randomly appear inside containers throughout all maps and areas, but you’ll likely find them more often in Residential and Commercial zones. Ultimately, it’s all based on chance.
So, there you go! That covers everything you need to know about finding where to use the Stella Montis Archives Key in ARC Raiders.
But there’s another locked room on the map: the Stella Montis Security Checkpoint. It usually has better items to find than the Archives.
