Disney recently released collectible Star Tours vehicle playsets. The first, the StarSpeeder 3000, debuted at the D3 Expo in 2024 and sold out almost immediately with only 3,000 available. A second version, the StarSpeeder 1000, was released on Star Wars Day 2025. Although the original StarSpeeder 3000 is no longer available, you can now purchase the StarSpeeder 1000 for $350 as part of Star Wars Life Day 2025.
This playset is designed to feel like the Star Tours ride, but in miniature! It’s packed with features, including a screen that shows content from the ride, and buttons that trigger sounds like C-3PO talking and realistic noises for doors and cannons. Lights flash and glow to mimic the ride vehicle’s cannons, headlights, and thrusters. It comes with C-3PO and R2-D2 figures, and you can open panels to see inside, where you’ll find 25 tiny seats with seatbelts and special lighting that syncs with the screen.
