Paris Hilton is speaking out about a controversial rumor.
The 44-year-old addressed claims that Ghislaine Maxwell, Jeffrey Epstein’s girlfriend who is currently in prison for sex trafficking, once tried to recruit her at a party.
Paris Hilton said in a recent interview with The Sunday Times Magazine that she doesn’t recall ever meeting the person in question. She also jokingly noted that her name is great for getting attention online.
In 2000, Paris Hilton and Maxx Morando were photographed with Donald Trump at a fashion show in New York City. Trump had been friends with the Hilton family for years and was also the founder of the modeling agency Paris was signed to at the time.
The photo appeared in the 2020 Lifetime docuseries Surviving Jeffrey Epstein. During the program, Christopher Mason, who once knew Ghislaine Maxwell, claimed she had suggested Paris Hilton would have been a good match for Jeffrey Epstein. Epstein died in prison in 2019 while facing charges related to the sex trafficking of numerous underage girls, a crime that allegedly occurred from at least 2002 to 2005.
In a documentary, a friend of mine shared a story about Ghislaine Maxwell at a party. Maxwell noticed a young woman, reportedly around teenage age, and asked, ‘Who is that?’ When told the girl was Paris Hilton, Maxwell allegedly said, ‘She’d be perfect for Jeffrey. Could you introduce them?’
In 2021, Maxwell was convicted of aiding Epstein in the sexual abuse of teenage girls. She was found guilty on multiple charges, including conspiring to lure minors for illegal sexual acts, transporting them with the intent for criminal activity, and lying under oath.
As a lifestyle expert, I’ve been following this case closely. A 63-year-old woman tried to get her conviction reversed, but unfortunately, the Supreme Court decided not to take on her appeal last October. It’s a disappointing outcome, and I know many are watching to see what happens next.
