Good news for fans of AMC’s Mayfair Witches: we now know when season two will be available to stream on Netflix in the US. This confirms that Netflix will continue to be the home for the Alexandra Daddario series as part of an existing agreement with AMC.
Mayfair Witches Season 2 to stream on Netflix in December
The second season of Mayfair Witches will be available to stream on Netflix in the US starting December 2, 2025. The season originally consisted of eight episodes that first aired on AMC between January and March 2025, according to What’s on Netflix.
Set within the world created by Anne Rice’s ‘Immortal’ novels, the series centers on Rowan Fielding (Alexandra Daddario) and her discovery that she’s the heir to the powerful Mayfair family. The second season introduces new actors Alyssa Jirrels, Ben Feldman, Ted Levine, and Mariana A. Novak to the cast.
Thanks to a deal with AMC, Netflix began adding Season 1 in August 2024, and has since expanded its offerings with additional seasons of popular shows. New titles like Orphan Black, Echoes, and This Is Going to Hurt have also been added. Season 1 was initially available in some international areas starting in September 2024, and Season 2 is planned for wider release, including the UK in March 2026.
Starting in December 2025, Netflix will roll out ‘Talamasca: The Secret Order’ to countries outside the US, with a US release to follow. This is part of an expanding universe of interconnected stories and shows.
AMC has ordered a third season of Mayfair Witches and filming is now underway in Vancouver. Production is expected to finish in February 2026. This season will delve deeper into the world of witchcraft, introducing new families with magical connections, and will also feature stories set during the historical events of the Salem witch trials.
James Frain and Eliza Scanlen are the newest additions to the show’s cast. Thomas Schnauz will work with Esta Spalding as showrunners. AMC hasn’t said when Season 3 will be released. Whether the season will be available on Netflix depends on their current licensing agreement, which currently covers the first two seasons until December 2, 2026.
