The highly-rated golf simulator of 2025 is coming to the Nintendo Switch 2. Golf games have a long history, starting with titles like 1979’s Miniature Golf, and have improved dramatically since then. Modern golf games now offer a realistic experience, letting you play as a professional golfer, much like watching a tournament on TV. On November 19, 2025, 2K announced that its popular golf game, PGA Tour 2K25, will be available on the new Nintendo Switch 2 on February 6, 2026. If you don’t own the game yet, or are considering buying a Switch 2, this is a great reason to do so! PGA Tour 2K25 quickly became a top-selling game when it launched in February 2025 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. While it wasn’t originally available on the original Nintendo Switch, it’s now coming to the upgraded console as the sixth installment in the PGA Tour 2K series.
PGA Tour 2K25 Is Coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 in Early 2026
When PGA Tour 2K25 launches on the new Switch 2, it will include all the game modes and courses from the original release, specifically optimized for handheld play. A new feature called EvoSwing lets players use the console’s motion controls with the Swing Stick or 3-Click Swing to mimic a real golf swing, rewarding skill and timing. Players can even practice and refine their swing within the game to improve their shots.
