ITV unveils its Christmas 2025 TV line-up – from Red Eye to The Masked Singer and a hit new US drama

Christmas is just over a month away, which means we’ll soon see the special TV programs that air during the holidays.

ITV has announced its holiday programming for this year, though specific dates are still to come. Highlights include the return of Red Eye for its second season with Jing Lusi and Martin Compston, a Christmas special of The Masked Singer, and the start of the show’s seventh season.

ITV is adding several new dramas to its lineup, including the US series The Hunting Wives, debuting on ITVX on December 27th. Viewers can also enjoy Super Pumped: The Battle for Uber, originally released in 2022 and featuring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Uma Thurman, alongside the Australian drama The Family Next Door.

This Christmas, viewers can enjoy special episodes of several popular game shows, including Bullseye, Catchphrase, Ant & Dec’s Limitless Win, Romesh Ranganathan’s Parents’ Evening, Wheel of Fortune, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, You Bet! and The 1% Club. Plus, The 1% Club is getting a new spin-off show called The 1% Club Rollover, which begins on Monday, December 8th.

ITV will broadcast several major royal events this year, such as Royal Carols: Together at Christmas, The Royal Variety Performance 2025, and Steve Backshall’s Royal Arctic Challenge.

Stephen Mulhern is joining forces with Ant & Dec for a new travel show called Accidental Tourist. Viewers can also enjoy a documentary, Torvill & Dean: The Last Dance, which follows the iconic ice skaters on their farewell tour, and a special behind-the-scenes look at Christmas preparations inside Marks & Spencer.

You can catch this year’s Jingle Bell Ball on ITV, and Stephen Mulhern is back to host ‘The Big Soap Quiz,’ pitting Coronation Street against Emmerdale.

ITV is really going all out this Christmas! Along with its usual shows, they’ll be showing a huge selection of popular movies. You can enjoy classic holiday films like Love Actually, The Grinch, and It’s a Wonderful Life, plus other blockbusters like The Batman, Mamma Mia!, Big, Ghostbusters, How to Train Your Dragon, and Top Gun.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll likely hear what other TV channels have planned for the holidays. We already know the BBC will air a Christmas special from Amandaland and a new season of The Night Manager. Channel 4 is preparing a festive edition of The Great British Bake Off, featuring the cast of Peep Show, and a new Christmas comedy called Dear Father Christmas.
