The next INDIE Live Expo, happening on November 29, 2025, will showcase news and updates on more than 100 independent games, according to the event’s organizer, Ryu’s office.
Some of the games set to appear include:
- Core Keeper, the survival crafting sandbox adventure with over three million copies sold worldwide developed by Pugstorm and published by both Fireshine Games and bilibili.
- SacriFire, the supernatural pixel art JRPG developed by Pixelated Milk.
- A brand-new project from room6, the publisher behind Unreal Life and ghostpia Season One.
- Yunyun Syndrome!? Rhythm Psychosis, the psychological rhythm adventure co-developed by both Alliance Arts and WHO YOU.
- Magical Princess, the child-rearing simulator based on the beloved Magical board game series created by MAGI Inc., and developed by Neotro.
The broadcast will include the usual INDIE Live Expo segments. Expect quick updates on many games in “INDIE Waves,” a more detailed look at chosen titles in “INDIE Spotlight,” and an awards show celebrating the best indie games of 2025.
I was checking out the judges for this year’s awards, and wow, they’ve got some serious gaming legends on the panel! There are eight industry vets representing four different countries, which is awesome. They’ve got Shuhei Yoshida – he used to head up the indie stuff at Sony – and Keiichiro Toyama, the creator of Silent Hill and SIREN. He’s running Bokeh Game Studio now, working on Slitterhead, which I’m super excited about!
INDIE Live Expo will be broadcast on November 29th at 1:00 AM Pacific Time, 4:00 AM Eastern Time, or 6:00 PM Japan Standard Time. You can tune in on YouTube (in English, Japanese, and Korean), Twitter (in English, Japanese, and Korean), Twitch (in English and Japanese), as well as Niconico, Bilibili, and Steam.
