Please be aware that this article contains spoilers from the One Piece manga! The Elbaph Arc in the One Piece manga is finally here, and it’s full of exciting surprises, new characters, and long-awaited reveals. Fans have been anticipating this story for over 20 years, ever since the Straw Hat Pirates first heard about the land of the Giants in the Little Garden Arc. As the story heads towards its climax, things are becoming more intense and we’re getting closer to uncovering the secrets of the One Piece world. Although the manga started the Elbaph Arc over a year ago, the anime is still finishing up the Egghead Incident Arc. Recently, Toei Animation announced a significant change: the anime will now only release 26 episodes each year.
After finishing the Egghead Incident Arc in January 2026, the anime One Piece will take a three-month break. The story will then continue with the Elbaph Arc in April of next year. This new arc focuses on the land of the Giants, a mysterious place with secrets tied to the Void Century – a crucial period in the search for the legendary treasure, One Piece. Even though the Elbaph Arc isn’t airing for several months, the official One Piece Base Shop X account recently shared a preview of a highly acclaimed manga panel from the latest story arc.
One Piece Shares First Official Look At the Mural’s Coloring

The official One Piece store is opening in Shinjuku in 14 days! Reservations for visits in December 2025 will be available starting at 8:00 PM on Thursday, November 20th, and will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis as space is limited. If you miss out on December, tickets for January 2026 will go on sale starting November 26th, 2026.
The official X account also shared a preview of a panel from chapter 1138, widely considered the best in the series due to its rich backstory and depth. This panel depicts a mural found inside a huge cave on Elbaph, showcasing key historical events. Franky and Ripley were stunned by the mural, which shows different races uniting for a common purpose – something Giants believe is just a naive dream.
The mural depicts various groups of people who united to fight a common enemy across different time periods. It also hints at a Sun God who will lead the world into a new age, and suggests Luffy will play a vital part in that future. Currently, much of the One Piece world – both its present and past – remains unknown, and this mural seems to hold the answers to its biggest mysteries.
